Hello Liz, Ruby, Cov, Ricky, Lovergurl, Race, Mousy, Murph and everyone else. Been on the go all morning. Enjoying the new baby.. She is a precious little princess! It doesn't seem possible that November is already here. Looks snowy outside but I think it's suppose to rain instead. Liz have you gotten any snow yet?
The year is flying by.
Are you going to be cooking Thanksgiving for the kids and grands?

Jane you need to contact those people and tell them
it came up on your tape that they were going door to door and rattle your door. Ask them what was wrong that they would do this?
And you should have let Thing call the cops. Better to
lose a friend or neighbor than a daughter.
Do you know how high the death rate is for a family member or close friend?
I know you thought you did the right thing but a few minutes can make a big difference.9635
I really appreciate everyone's opinion on this. And I already feel a little better just knowing that I'm not over reacting.
I feel bad that maybe I didn't react enough.
One of the lessons in the Gift of Fear, that Ruby mentioned, is to go with your gut. And my gut told me I was pissed.
I should have went with that.

I am so glad you have you some good drugs.
I'm praying for you and Mr. Mousie.
Thursday everything will go well and without a hitch.

You're not overreacting JD. I remember a couple of boys pulling things. I was glad my mom was so fierce. I'd call out her name a couple of times, and you'd hear them hoofing it, their feet steady hit the ground and steady running after that. It was good to have a mom that could put the fear of God into them.

I'm having high tea at 4:00 pm~~
I hope someone wrustle up scones and pineapple marmalade.
Maybe some clotted cream?
And if it's not too much trouble, some canned goose liver
pate on Chikin-in-a-Biskit crackers.
Well, I went shopping, and all I could find was some day old bread (if we toast it, you won't see the green parts), gooseberry jam (made by real geese--I think the gooseberry part was a euphemism for dingle berries). A carton of outdated cream (it came out in big clots). And instead of goose liver, I found this nice pack of souse meat and some triscuits to serve it on. Bon appetit!

Your non-reaction was safe Jane, I would have been pissed as well, and actually I am!! OK, I'm not actually mad, but you do have good reason to be a bit upset because of the scare they put in to your family. You did good to keep your gut reaction (Kick-butt) in check imo. Just being aware of what happened will bring out the truth from the guilty parties later without you having to say a thing.

When did you move to Ding-Dong Tex.?

Take care.

Souse meat on triscuits?
I'd like a substitution please.
Headcheese on a Ritz.

I'm not sure which is worse--souse meat or head cheese. How about some nice liverwurst on a wheat thin?

The only souse I've seen was from the store but it
was still gross.
Head Cheese is a different story, I've seen that stuff
made. I couldn't get past the grease dripping off of it
into a bucket.
