My mother has a 14 year old doxie who is just the cutest li'l thing! When she brings her over here, she runs right for our boxer's crate and makes that her palace for the duration of her stay. Always makes me laugh when he goes by, looks at her, looks at me......as if to say "can you get her out of MY crate, please??" We even have one here for her but she always wants his.....and she always gets it! LOL

Well it's more like I read it to myself. I make him sit there but he usually takes off after the second page. I plan on stopping once we get to " The night before college". I'll retire the book then and someday when he has kids give it to him to read to his own children.

A couple weeks ago I was shopping and saw a little boy trying on a bunch of different tote bags. It reminded me of when Noah was little and how he'd love to get a new tote and school supplies every year. He was filling and emptying out those totes 2 weeks before school ever started. He was always so excited for school to start.

Oh please..........I rarely leave the house without a list of things I need or places I need to go. I have a hard time remembering squat anymore. What really pisses me off is when I lose the list. It's total chaos then.

Good morning,
Haha I bet Noah thinks you're nuts for reading that every year. When he is grown he will always remember it.. It's great when little ones love school. My GD loves school.

Hopefully when he's grown and has kids of his own he remembers the special little things we did for him and he does the same for his children.
Once went he was in elementary school he brought his journal home and I was reading where he wrote about when we made a gingerbread house and it was " the best day of his life". Didn't take much to impress him, since most of our gingerbread house were pretty F'd up looking. LOL

I think you might be on the wrong thread. We don't even have a head banshee

In case the head banshee reads this thread, I had to look up what she was caterwalling about and found that it was in the 77373 area of Harris County. I do not even know where that is because I don't even drive down there. All I can tell you is that it is South of here somewhere off of I-45.
She apparently isn't aware that there are different school districts and private schools. Gasp. I don't know anyone with kids in that High School, so I can't help you.

When we lose the list, there's no hope. If it's a grocery list, I end up getting most of the stuff I'd written on the list -- except for the MAIN thing I needed at the store.

I'm telling you, this craziness comes from having a bunch of kids.

This thread was opened by JaneDear at Liz's
request.
Pretty much gives Liz the right to post whatever
she wants too, since it's technically HER thread.

If you don't like it, don't read it~~
Better yet, take it off your tracker,

Well said. I propped it even though you can't have it lol.

I thought maybe if I didn't post on here much ( cause I got a big ole mouth) the trolling would die down.

Guess not...

The trolling has nothing to do you, Jane. The two king and queen trolls are equal opportunity haters.

Did you see them TROLL bonding on the other threads the other day?
He-who-must-not-be-named apparently lives to harass me. I'm flattered by the constant attention. His latest character is a Japanese man posting from there.

Yes, I did see that troll bonding session. Awww, so sweet.

Are you talking about that Texas poster who wants me to read stories and make gingerbread houses with that Silly Poster..........she must be crazy. I couldn't even let her out of the house to play. A kid down the street is black and to make matters worse he has a few hoodies. Poor kid would be traumatized for life if he met up with Silly.

I think you're right and it is from having too many kids. What bad is when I call them by the wrong names, what's even worse is when I call my daughter one of the boy's names.

Years ago I could meet someone and repeat their name once and remember it. Now I can meet someone 20 times, have no clue what their name is but can usually match them up to the corresponding kid.

Now I call my kids my grandkids' names. Sometimes I even throw the dog in there, too.

I remember when the youngest of my four kids was little. He was up to mischief, & needed to scold him. I ran through the names of his siblings, still couldn't remember his name. I ended up saying,'I know you live here! Now stop doing that & behave!'

EVERY area in the United States has problems with
low-rent neighborhoods and the activities that go along with it.

Doesn't matter if it's Texas, Florida, or Georgia.

We have an epidemic of drug addiction like we've
never seen before.
It started in the mid-80's and it's been downhill
ever since.

Now we have the pharmaceutical junkies added to
the mix.
It's not always some homeless junkie lying in an
alley, not anymore.

How many children are stuck in living conditions that are horrendous because their parent(s) are
drug fiends?

Hope you don't take offense to my post Ruby, I am just so thankful my semi-dysfunctional family is actually normal and functioning fine. This grandma needs to lighten up?
Or get laid.
