Good evening everyone~~

Any word on Jodi Arias?
I know they will show the verdict when it comes
down.
I think she will be found guilty but I don't think
she will be given the death penalty~jmo

All I can say is, she lies just like Casey Anthony...

Thanks so much for posting this!
Yes, Lowry Park was a day trip for our family. By today's standards
it would be considered tacky and dorkey~lol
Calling themselves a zoo was questionable BUT
my sister told me it has been completely re-designed and re-built,
and is now an accredited zoo.
Did you ever shop at Del Webb's Sun City?
Oh yes, I guess it (the article) must be talking about the 25th Anniversary of the new zoo, which is very nice. I saw another article where one of the readers said he was sad that the rainbow was torn down, which I was/am not aware of. I haven't been in years, however like you said it was an all day visit when I was a kid. We usually ended up having a picnic when we went. My older sister would drive us and her kids, along with my mom, my younger sister and me.

No, I never shopped at Del Webb's. My best friends mom lives there (in Sun City) and my sister did, but moved back to Tallahassee. Was Del Webb's a nice place to shop?

Good Morning All

Ruby I saw on CNN where they were just finishing the jurors questions and then the lawyers would do a redirect. It sounds like the trial might be wrapped up by next week.

It appears everyone thinks she'll be found guilty including Jodi herself, however I doubt she's get the death penalty.

We had picnic's at the local zoo too back when I was young. At the time there's were probably only about a handful of did animal exhibits. We always were happy there and thought it was such a big deal.

It's kind of sad now. The zoo is huge and to kids today it's just not that big of a deal. Seems like our generation just appreciated things so much more than the kids of today.

Shuaw just wanted you to know that I and others

I hope you are getting some rest and that your
Mother is doing better.
ArtGal had surgury again today so we are trying

Yes it does and I know in my heart that things
are not going well with Shuaw. If she was home for
a few minutes she would have e-mail me or posted here
or on the other one.So please keep her and her Mother in
our prayers.

Mousie~~
I saw a segment on tv this morning about a strain of UTI
that is antibiotic resistant. I immediately thought of Shaw's
Mom.
She is definitely in my thoughts and prayers, right up there
with AG.

Hey Tribe~
Looking back I can see where at one time it was sort of nice
Florida shopping.
The building was the old Art-Deco style.
As the years passed it became run down and more like a bargain
basement type store.
Sun City in and of itself was a big deal, especially for elderly
retirees.

After the juror's questions are finished and the lawyers question Jodi on her responses again, besides closing arguments this phase of the trial is done, right.

I might even skip the Nancy Grace weekly update this week. I'm sick of hearing about Jodi's butt.

I know the only question I would have had at this points is why she didn't just move on and leave Travis alone.

The jurors were submitting more questions as Jodi was answering the first ones...The jurors have many more questions for Ms. Arias...This trial could go on for another couple weeks as jurors are not required to stop asking questions...Then those new questions have to be examined and cross examined...

Good Morning All

Yesterday I went on another wild car ride with Noah. My nerves are still rattled.

Did anyone see 48 hours last night. The cold case about the little girl who was kidnapped and murdered from IL? That guy was such a scumbag. I can't believe after doing all those things he did he went on and became a police officer.

Thing doesnt tumble- she can ,but she wont(she was hurt awhile back and is scared)...so anyway she didnt make it. She was so upset...poor thing. Of course I'm OK with it. Saved over thousand bucks!

Missy I sent you the link on the story. Besides killing the little girl the guy also raped his younger sister several times. When the reporter asked him about it he said his only comment was "they were close". He was a sick freak and who knows what else he did during all those years. It took almost 50 years before he was arrested.

I'm sorry that sucks for Thing One. Maybe by next year she'll get over her fear of tumbling and try out again. I know the competition is fierce in Texas........I've seen the movies. Some of those Mom's are crazy. It's not that big of a deal here but I have noticed the cheering squad is pretty much always the same girls year after year. I'm guessing that it's not easy to break into and eventually the other girls just give up. Was Thing One trying out to cheer for a spring sport? We only have fall and winter cheerleaders here.

Football cuts are mid August here and I've seen plenty of boys coming out of the field house in tears after having to turn in their equipment and told they didn't make the team. It's sad. Even if they make the team it's pretty much the same kid's year after year who dominate the field. If the team is up or down by a lot of points at the end of the 4th then the coach will sub some of the other 20/30 kids on the sidelines for a couple of running plays.

LG stop laughing over my wild car rides. When his Dad asks me about the driving he refers to them as " wild carnival rides" Then he tells me to keep up the good work..........good work..........we almost have a accident every time we go out.
