Oh, it's started - like a revolving door around here!! lol But it has taken a lot of the stress off me. The nurses are following thru with the uti now, that takes the stress off me so much. Then today they came and got her and took her to an Adult day care. I took the longest hottest shower, it was heaven sent! Then just piddled around. Tomorrow they are coming to give her a shower and set around with her for 3 hours. I'm gonna go buy some deodorant. lol
I hope this relief you're being given continues. You so deserve it. God bless you and your mom Shuaw.

Tribe would you consider joining a support group? Even maybe a online group.
Some times it doesn't matter what parents do, kids still fall off the path we had planned for them. Your son is still just a young adult. He'll make mistake like all kids do, but chances are he'll find his way back. I know this is rough for you but at times kids need to hit rock bottom and then after that there's no place to go except up.

I'm sorry Liz. I just now saw this post. Yes! I'm thinking about joining Al-anon or Narcotics Anonymous. I've just be too crazed right now to do it. I wish I could get my husband to go with me, but you know how men are about those kind of things. I think he is worried though this time and maybe he'll join me.

Hi Tribe, did I ever tell you I am getting a new Grandbaby in April? Well this afternoon son number 3 comes over and I thought something was going on by his actions. He stayed for a about half hour then he left. About 20 mineautes later he calls me and tells me I am gonna be grandma again. I asked him why he never told me when he was here. He said I was gonna but I didn't want to see that look you would have gave me. So looks like I am gonna get 2 new grandbabys.

Congratulations Missy! I'm jealous. I would love a grandbaby but only if my kids are willing to raise them. I never thought I'd hear myself say this (when I was younger), but I never want to raise another child. I probably would if I had to, but I don't want to. I think we are made to raise children when we're young. If I could take care of it, babysit, love it and give it back, I would love it.

I am happy for you! Maybe one day my time will come.

This will make Grandbaby number 4! I am sure you will get grandbabys someday. I love being a grandma. For some reason I get the blame for them being spoiled. Haha

Good Morning All

Congrats Missy on the new Grandbaby. I bet GD will be thrilled to be a able to play with them.

Tribe it's crazy about the sinkhole. How far was it from your house? Do people have any idea that their houses are on or near sinkholes? Is there any way of telling ahead of time?

Tribe I'm so sorry your family is going thru this right now. Your plan about going to a support group with other people in the same situation is a step in the right direction. Regardless if your husband goes or not. For now maybe look at some online groups and read info , posts or whatever from those people and see if any of that helps your situation.
I'll be praying for you and your family.

The bastard was found guilty of 2nd degree murder. The judge told him that the state actually proved 1st degree and he was lucky he wasn't charged with that.

12 armed officers in the court room when the verdict was read, and we had an armed escort out of the building. LMAO, I still haven't figured out the need for all that.

Impromptu party at my house last night :)

Sentencing will be March 27th.

Part one is over, now on to the civil suits.

Thank you Mousie. That is what is so painful. I have to stand my ground once and for all. I think the situation my husband and I are going through now is, in all seriousness, a do or die situation. He needs to grow up NOW or he never will. I know I or we've enabled him to get by in life and have made him into the kind of person he is. I also know his good side. He has a heart of gold. I am torn because I love him, but if I had the backbone I should have, there is really no question as to what is the right or wrong decision here. He needs to go. I can't have him back into my home or someone is going to get hurt. That is all there is to it.
I shouldn't be so secretive about this. None of us (as parents) should live this way, NOT NOW, NOT EVER. I hope those of you who matter to me understand.
Tribe I know it looks like nothing you do or say will be right.
I went thru this with my oldest son.
He got in with the wrong crowd, drop out of school, got a girl
pg,did the drug route and would not listen to a thing I had to say.
So finally I told him I would love him forever and would be there
for him but until he got his life on the right path he could not
live in my home.
LoL where did he go but to his Granny house.
After a few months he meet the girl that he has now been married to
for 20yrs and he is the most wonderful man you would ever want to
meet. A work aholic and has never been in any trouble. He calls me
evey day to see if I am alright and when I need anything he is 1st one there.Time really does heal most things.

About 10 miles or so. I feel so bad for that man and his poor family. I don't know much about sinkholes. It sounds like a nightmare. There were people having sinkholes around Plant City a couple of years ago, and for some reason I thought the strawberry farmers overwatering had something to do with it.

Hi Tribe, wouldn't that be awful to be in your room and the earth just swallow you? I saw where they were calling off the search for the man.
