Good Morning All

I'm so pissed. I was watching a good movie last night and about 10 minutes before the movie ended I fell asleep.

Did anyone happen to see the movie The Killing game?

Gm all..
I was just messing with state thread.
It has lasted a long time and I do not post as
I do not like to keep picking over and over on same
subject.
It's kinda like what is going on here. They are trying
to do away with cirg. smoking in bars. The way I look at it
is if you don't like the smoke don't go in.
Go to one that already does not allow smoking.
I will send e-mail in a few min.

Mousie there hasn't been any smoking in bars or restaurants here for a few years now.

Someone told me awhile ago ( not sure if it's true) but in AU you can't smoke in your car either.

Good Morning All

Now Mousie here's my deal. I usually find all these great , simple recipes like the lasagna rolls and then forget about making them. What was the sausage recipe? That sound like something my kids would like. I need to start getting in gear and making some halfway decent dinners. The troops are protesting.

I think we might be cousins. Last night my cousin called me and was talking about kind of the same things and how much she misses the things we used to do. By the time we got off the phone she had me pretty depressed.

BTW......you can smoke in the Indian owned casino's here.

GM all...
Liz here is the basic susage and pepper.

Just cut up green pepper and red pepper into bowl
throw in a red onion cut up and jar of bannana
peppers. Chunk some potatoes and throw in same
bowl.
Salt and pepper and a little mince garlic.
Drizzle all with oilve oil.
Slice up Erchiard smoke susage or any kind you like.Add to bowl mix all with hands.
Cook on low like 375 for 1hr uncover then cover
cook another 30min. or until potatoes are tender.
I added a little Italian seasoning or you can
use rosemary.

Good Morning All

Thanks Mousie that recipe sounds good.

When I go grocery shopping this week I'm going to try to get the ingredients for that and those lasagna rolls.

Your welcome...left overs were better than first.
So I would mix it all up and let it sit for at least 30 min.
before I cooked it to let the oil soak in.

Good morning Ricky, Liz and Mousie.

Broccoli & Cheese Corn Bread

1 small onion chopped
1 cup melted butter
2 (9oz) packages cornbread mix (Jiffy)
4 eggs, beaten
3 cups cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz) package broccoli
1 cup cottage cheese

Saute onion butter in skillet. Let stand until cool.
Combine undrained onion & butter with cornbread mix, eggs, broccoli, cottage cheese and 2 cups of the cheddar chose in box Mix well.
Spoon into large greased cast-iron skillet or greased 9 x 13 in baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until light brown on top.

I got this recipe from my next-door neighbor before she moved. I've never made it, but she said it was good. Does this sound like anything any of you would like? I was going to double the recipe except that does sound like a lot of cheese for cornbread. Any suggestions?

:-)

TM that sounds good...I will try it. I would not double it sounds
like it would make a lot.

Also on the pepper and susage one that I posted I would think
you could use cooked chicken breast in place of susage.

This is so good. I could eat it all day. My mother used to make another one a lot like this but is was with squash instead of broccoli...
