My mother-in-law and my husband's two oldest sisters. They are all perfect housekeepers, cooks, etc. One thing I'm not for sure, and that is perfect anyfreakin'thing.
I love them from afar.
;-)
OH poor you!!
Are they going to stay long? You have a month to get ready. I hope they aren't the nosy sort....
man I would die if someone snooped through my closets right now...ewe or junk drawers.

Not that you have messy closets and junk drawers...

Oh yes! I have messy closets and junk drawers. They'll be here about 4 days, but this month, in a couple of weeks. I'll be ill until they come and go. I know that's bad, but that is just me.

Good almos evening Mousie. I DOES make me feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one. My company will be staying in a motel. I'm still nervous about the way my house looks. My husbands oldest sister used to own a restaurant. I've eaten in both of their homes. They are definitely better cooks than I am.

They came about this time last year. I felt like I fell short then. I'm surprised they're coming back this year. I'm going to try to not be so nervous about it. Life is short. I love my husband's mom and the rest of his family. I'm just Nervous Nellie, but I hope I make this feel welcome in my home.

My friend's granddaughter has been released from jail. Yay! I feel better for her. She was released with a GPS tracking device. I've never heard of that on a first offense, but what do I know.

I just watched Flight on DVD with Denzel Washington. It turned out to be a good movie. I didn't think it was going to be good at first, but ole' Denzel knocked it in to home as usual.

The soundtrack to the movie is excellent. The same gentlemen who did the soundtrack for Forrest Gump, which is also a keeper. I gotta get this.

I just wanted to comment that I'm sorry a life was taken, especially since he was a Vietnam veteran, but I am so glad the little boy from Alabama was rescued from that bunker. It was such a welcome piece of news and with all the bad news we get regarding kids, it was sorely needed.

I hope the little guy has a wonderful birthday tomorrow. I'm am so happy for his parents. I hope he doesn't carry lifetime scars from this very unfortunate episode that he was forced to go through.

You will be fine..Just eating some one else cooking makes it
taste better..Try fixing something that you can prepare ahead of
time.
They love you and would not have come back this year if they did
not have a good time last year.
I miss having family left. Other than my kids I only have a brother
who lives in Hawaii.
You will do fine....

Good Morning All

LG the player didn't know the camera was following him and said right after they won that it was F*ing great or awesome. They probably all drop the F bomb on the field except for maybe Tim Tebow.

Tribe glad your friends granddaughter is out of jail. I'm not big on company either, especially when they stay for days at a time. Do you have to entertain them the entire time or do they explore the city for part of the time?
What about making lasagna that you can freeze ahead of time and then just give them a salad. That would be low-keyed and not a lot of stress.

How about looking on the net for some type of fancy crockpot recipe you could throw together in the morning and then just give the some french bread with it.

Do you have to make them lunch too?
What I've done when there's a group pf people over and we also did this on the day my daughter got married. Just buy a loaf of french bread and make you own sub. Then cut it into little piece and use fancy toothpicks. Make a simple fruit salad and a pasta salad..........then tell them you have a headache and need to rest. Let hubby amuse them.
