Liz is the snail eater. I have had deer many times I can eat it about once a year but bear yuck! I had it one time and couldn't swallow it I ran for the trash can.
One of my uncles had a dairy farm and had fresh milk. It was awful! I am not much of a milk drinker but if I am gonna drink it it has to be pasteurized. I love fresh egg especially the brown ones.
How's the Oklahoma weather? It's cold here.
I really do not like deer. Suasage is o.k, and I only had
bear once...at church camp. Would not eat it now.
I love fresh cream do not care for milk.
Here is one that will send Liz to potty. I do like rattle snake.
It is a little cool here today. 40% now but going up in the 70 this
week-end.

When I lived in Oklahoma we would go to the rattle snake round up in Mangum. They sold fried rattlesnake. I wouldn't dare taste a snake but many people said it tasted like chicken. My thought is why not eat chicken then.

LOL..........squirrel and dumplings..........Oh my that sounds delicious. GAG

Here's something else, We don't really do dumplings here in NY either. In fact I'm not sure if it's more like a noodle or biscuit.

I'm with you on the milk. I can't see drinking it straight from the cow but I have heard many people say the cream on top is suppose to taste really good. I'll just take their word for it.

Good morning everyone! I have had frog legs and never liked them. I am with you Liz I won't eat no rabbit, no squirrel either. That would be like eating a rat. My grandmother use to cook rabbit and make squirell and dumplings. I would vomit if I had to eat it. My dad loves frog legs but you won't catch me eating them.

I'm not sure if I would rather eat rattlesnake or frog. Let me get back to you on that.

Idol..........

Fireman is not in the top 40.

The smaller boy with the curly hair is in the top 40.

Was the last person the black guy who lost everything in Katrina? If so, yes he's in the top 40.

Good Morning All

Mousie did you know they make deer meat hotdogs too. Now those looked really gross. One time this guy was telling me about making a sandwich out of either the deer heart or liver. Slicing it very thin and how wonderful it taste. Just the visual alone almost gagged me.

Ugh....I always buy all beef hotdogs..
Heart or liver sounds awful.

Once a long time ago I remember a teacher telling the class
about how an Indian had saved his life when he got lost
in a snow storm by cutting a deer open and crawling inside
of it and how the warm blood saved his life.
If I ever get lost in a snow storm I hope I have my knife
and a deer comes by lol.

Mouise I saw the heart or liver ( whatever it was) marinating in some liquid. It had these gross particles floating around too. I saw this jar of pickles eggs at a bar before and there was all sorts of gross things floating around that juice too. I wanted to gag just looking at it.

Oh man gutting the deer and laying down inside for warmth is a good idea, however I could never do it. I would never cut it on that show survivor.

Here's a sentence of a local woman that really had me shaking my head. She and her kids lived in a double house. She was only in her early 30's with 5 kids. She and the her BF ( youngest child's father) had a fight. She torch's his picture causing the house to catch on fire. She grabs the baby and goes outside( just up and left the other kids). Meanwhile her 4 kids died in the fire and 3 other kids were injured. Total time sentenced...............15 years.

Good morning.
Liz my niece came over last night and she's a big honey boo boo fan.
We watched back to back honey boo boo! I'll never be the same. Oh and they gave up the pig but thought honey boo needed a pet so they got her a chicken. The chicken lives in the house too.
My niece thought it was so funny that I was gagging and making retching sounds the whole time...

Then we watched a new show call Plastic Wives about women who married plastic surgeons. It's a lot like those real house wife shows...but with a lot more botox.

Fire in Atlanta last week~~
Five children involved, four died, the only surviving child
was the six year old who was playing with a lighter.
The mother was burned over 40% of her body trying to get
her children out.
Most of the time it's the smoke inhalation that causes death.
That's why I'm a stickler for WORKING detectors.
I feel sad when I hear detectors were in the house with either no batteries or dead batteries.

LG are you talking a baby chick or a full size chicken? Hopefully it's living in a cage and not roaming freely around the house. Couldn't they have just been normal and bought Honey Boo Boo a cat??????

That's so sad. I bet the fire here didn't have working smoke detector's. Some of the children who died were between ages 10-14 and could have possibly been able to get out.

And I love laughing!
