Here's an in-depth article about what some of these
parents are up against when it comes to getting help for their violent children.

Good evening Ladies~~
Do you girl's who watch American Idol think it's
going to work with the new judges or do you think
the ratings are going to slide as a result of it?
AND~it sounds like The Voice is really gaining in
popularity.
Ruby I think this will be the end of Idol.
And voice and x-factor both are getting good rateing.
Of course I guess Idol may do o.k. for the younger set.

Excellent article Ruby and sadly true. States are forced, as it is, to take care of CHILDREN, for the most part, which is a good thing that they are, but when those children, some with severe mental issues grow up, the assistance and/or mental health usually stops. The many psychiatric hospital and facilities for the mentally ill closed years ago. Now the mentally ill are jailed, warehoused in prisons and sometimes killed by the police when they go into one of their rages. Mental illness is not recognized as a physical ailment like cancer or diabetes, yet no would would think of gunning down a physically sick person. Our country has no use for defective people. It's a sad truth (imho).

Evening all!
Hope everybody has a fun and safe New Years Eve.
Were headed for the city, with room reservations, game tickets, dinner reservations, driver. The whole nine yards. lol
This means I won't have to pick up, wash, or clean anything for the next 2 days. woohoo.
Plus may do a little shopping! Life is good.
Take care all and Happy New Year!

With that little boy on the way you might just have to start getting into football. Did they pick out the color theme for the baby's room yet?

I'm beginning to think the reason the suicide letter hasn't been released or spoken about in detail has something to do with the fire department.

I found out yesterday that in the Grandmother's obit in lieu of flowers she wanted donations to go to the Webster Fire dept.

Also another thing I'm wondering about is he grew up in Webster. Webster has one of the biggest parades and firemen's carnivals in the county. It always has. I'm wondering if he wanted to go to the parade or carnival as a child and couldn't or maybe wanted to join the fire department and couldn't. I can't help but think he had something against the fire department.

Yesterday they televised the funeral of the one fireman. It was truly heartbreaking.

Thanks for posting the in-depth info about this guy.
He sounds like a Sling Blade, kills when he thinks
he has a cause to do so. Seems as though it was
always a family member. Sounds like he waited out of some sort of twisted sense of loyalty to his mother, before killing his sister; whom he openly hated by several accounts.
Sad, tragic and unecessary this monster killed firemen to accomplish his mission of hate.

Hello everybody!

My "New Year" hasn't started off so hot. It's been a while since I've had a meltdown here, so forgive me for venting.

My sister and brother-in-law went over to check on my brother because they hadn't heard from him on the phone. That isn't like him. My brother-in-law knocked repeatedly but couldn't get my brother to answer the door. He jimmied (sp?) the back door open and went inside. My brother was lying on the floor dead. I think he must have fallen out of his wheelchair as there was blood on the floor. The medical examiner's office said he'd probably been there about 2 days. They're going to do an autopsy as there are laws about people dying at home if they haven't been seen by a doctor in a certain amount of time.

I am heartsick and of course feel guilty. My brother was one pain in the ass, but I loved him. I didn't realize how much until right now. I was always close to him, but after he had his stroke he would say things, mean awful things, and I just got tired of hearing it, so I kind of neglected to call him as often as I had in the past. So be good to your loved ones. None of us guaranteed tomorrow.

It feels so strange to think of my brother dead. I hope he is at peace now.
