I thought of you last week. My older son and I went to dinner and had a couple drinks at the bar. It was one of those bars that had like 100 different flavors of beer. Did you ever had Sly Fox beer? OMG it's gross. I had a Christmas beer and that was pretty gross too. My son had a blueberry beer. It was gross but the best out of all the ones we tried.
I decided budlight( or diet pepsi) is more up my alley.<quoted text>
I have never heard of sly fox. A lot of the flavored beers are nasty. They have a chocalate covered cherry beer that would make you vomit. I havnt had any beer in over a year. I use to love some of the specialty ones but they all taste gross to me now.

My daughter has a claw foot tub in one of her bathrooms. She's never used it. She says she doesn't know how many asses have sat in it before.

If you ever went to the salvage place we would have to send in a
search team to find you at closing time.
I'm with you on the claw foot bathtubs, reminds me of something
out of the movie, The Shining.
Something I remember seeing there was a child size coffin, with
a viewing window.

Omg! I would freak out seeing the coffin. Yea, the claw foot tubs are just creepy..people pay big bucks for them when they could have a nice tub and shower unit.
Now that I've mentioned the salvage place I'm remembering more and more of the stuff.
They must have bought out an old pharmacy or compounder~~I bought
several old bottles. One of them has, Goff's No Dope Cough Syrup,
written in the glass. Added bonus, it's mercury glass.

That's neat! My sister collects the old medicine bottles. I like the old perfume bottles. Some of them are real dainty and pretty.

When we lived in Oklahoma I went to a auction and bought a section of old post office mail boxes. We put it in the wall of the den. I think that is what sold the house when we put it on the market. Everyone that looked at the house was so fascinated with it.

I wouldn't have thought to do something like that but it sure is
a unique idea.

It was cute as can be. Then you have lots of storage. I stored pens, pencils, envelopes and lots of little things in the boxes.

Don't mean to bring anyone down this morning but I
have to mention the little girls (cousins) who went
missing in Iowa back in July.
They were found together by a couple of hunters.
What a sad holiday season for the families and the
community.
I'm grateful they were found and were with each other until the end.
I wonder if there was a second pervert involved in this...

Very sad indeed..I saw that on the news. It's very sad that kids can't even ride their bikes around the neighborhoods anymore. They found the little girls bikes and a purse by a lake. They drained the lake and they weren't there. I wonder if the pervert put their bikes there so that they would think the girls were in the lake to slow the investigation down.

I hope it's solved and they catch the perv(s) that did this.
It sounds like the area was a popular summer place for recreation,
a lot of people coming and going.
I think it was a crime of opportunity.
And yes it is sad that children today can't be carefree and safe while playing outdoors.

A couple months ago a little 5 year old girl was kidnapped not far from here. She was found safe with a convicted sex offender. The laws need to change. The man should have never been able to see daylight again after what he had done to a child previously.

I saw on the news about the little girls.
So sad..We have four little girls who play
outside just in view of our place and I watch
them close.
The parents never come out o check on them and
we have a lot of traffic.

I can still remember my MOM checking on me
about every 15mim and we never had any problem.

I think it's a miracle the little girls were found.
jmo~~the trees and growth would be dying back at this time of the year, leaving them more visable,
but falling leaves would also cover them.
Bless the hunters who found them.
I always thought it was a miracle that Caylee was
found.
