Yeah, baby. Good to see Jameer playing with a little more confidence. I would still start Carlos and keep Jameer coming off the bench and then try and ride the hot hand.

Dwight was a monster. He was all over the boards. His defense was spectacular!

Clutch shot again by Hedo. If he doesn't go to the All Star game, something's wrong with the coaches. He deserves it.

Man, Ben Gorden is awesome. That dude can play!

Let's continue to the roll into 2008. I'm going to the game against the Nets on Wednesday.

Happy New Year Magic fans!

Well folks what do you think of our Magic now.
I thought both Carlos and Nelson had superb games at point, they are a dynamic duo at point guard ( and I could care less who starts ).
The Magic played this game with confidence against a great defence by Chicago.
I smell 50 win season as long as they do not get cocky again.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ! Magic fans.

A couple of additional comments:
SVG should a lot of guts giving the ball to Turk for the last play, If Turk does not score he would have taken a lot of criticism for that call.( Turk was awful today )
Howard is a monster and that steal at the end was in my opinion the winning play.( What a heart )

NO, he played a great game but at the end SVG decided to stick with Nelson.

Awesome finish. Last year's team would not have made it to overtime.

It's amazing how hard teams are playing us. They're watching the tapes and creating gameplans to beat this team. Our 2-7 stretch was a testament to that, and these past 4 games are a testament that SVG knows this and is firing back.

Here's another awesome thing: Notice that when the Magic come to town, our opponents arenas sell out! How cool is that?!

Fanatics: I listened to the SVG interview after the game. He said Arroyo played great (was 7/7, 4 assists and 1 turnover). But JN came off the bench with 22 pts and he decided to stay with the hot hand.
Looks like we've got 2 starting PG's on our team playing off one another. Can't get much luckier.

He was not injured. He just didn't play in the 4th or the ot because Nelson had the hot hand. I hope this will stop all arguments about who is our starting PG. It is not about who starts....it's about who finishes and at the end of the day SVG makes the decision on who has the hot hand between the 2.

I thought Hedo was going to give the game away with a couple of careless turnover at the end of regulation and ot, but he came up big with Wallace on his face.

D-12 was a monster like he has been. He should not only be nominated for MVP, but also for the defensive player of the year. He may not win, but he should at least be mention there....he played awesome defense today!

HAH~~I was sneared at 2 weeks ago when everyone was predicting the end of the season and the Magic were folding. "stick a fork in them, it is over", one guy proclaimed. 7,8, and 9 game losing streaks were being predicted all over the comment sections. I said the Magic were going on a win streak and it has happened. I don't remember anyone having the guts to go against the anti-magic crowd at that time and predict a win streak. Thats 4 in a row and 5 of 7 with 4 more road victories. Get on board folks, this is a good solid team and they will have a solid season and playoffs. Before we can work on a championship team though, they are going to need more playoff experience and a couple more solid player for depth. Otis is doing a good job piecing this team together. Oh yes, I am an Otis fan, he is doing a terrific job. They will get more playoff experience this year. This is getting exciting.

He does, he did, He-do! Turk made some big mistakes during some critical moments of the game but he redeemed himself by making the big shot with 0.7s left.

As before, I'd still prefer Carlos to start at the 1 and keep Nelson on the bench as a 2nd or 3rd option. It's okay for some of you to credit Jameer for his 22-point contribution, I can understand that because he's a natural scorer. But never rave about his role as a PG in today's win. JN is a 2 not a 1.

Even though I believe that we will eventually need to get a solid, all around point guard, I have to say that we should not get into the discussion of who is better between Arroyo and Nelson. I say whoever is playing better should get the minutes. However, I would start Arroyo and then I would use Nelson coming off the bench, just like Ben Gordon in Chicago. If both are playing good, like today, much better. Great game, and what a center we have.

Arroyo wasn't hurt.....

If this game proved anything it's that Arroyo will NEVER be the point guard. He played flawlessly, and SVG just couldn't wait to get JN in.

Loud & clear were stuck with Nelson. How many people tried to get Otis Smith to let him play out this year before signing him to a big contract.

Nelson deal & Ariza in LA for Cook...that's 2 strikes in my book against Otis.

I agree with you on Nelson getting his contract this year. I think we should have waited to see how he did. Ariza though is puzzling. NY gave up on him, Hill didnt use him during playoff time, and SVG didnt use him either. What is going on inside the locker room that prevented him from being used? I liked him as a player but it seems coaches really dont like using him as much. That has been a puzzle??

Nelson was the reason we won the game I think. He was big on both ends. Give him some props.

What a game. I thought this game would be an easy win, given the Bulls play of late, but I was wrong. I literally thought I was going to have a heart attack! Although we played sloppy and had WAY too many turnovers and some bad calls, we won in the end for a great finish to 2007. I was happy to be sitting by some other fans cheering for the Magic and we had at great time at the game. Here's hoping 2008 is just as great! GREAT JOB MAGIC, THANKS FOR A TERRIFIC FUN GAME! KEEP IT UP!

Ummm, the Bulls games here have been sellouts since the Jordan era, as much as I would love to credit the Magic with the attendance, these people come no matter what. However, there WERE many Magic fans today. Usually I am the lone one at the United Center. Bulls fans, however, only cheer the team if they are ahead or winning. Happy New Year magic Fans

The few times that I have gotten to see the Magic this year, I notice a HUGE difference from last year's team. The Magic are playing with a lot more confidence. I don't see them getting down on themselves when things go sideways for them. They play as if they expect to win. This is a sign of good coaching. Hats off to SVG for keeping this team from imploding. To win on the road in this league is a HUGE accomplishment. I have heard some people say that they haven't played anybody on the road yet. BULL................... If you play the Twolves every night on the road, it is still a tough game. The NBA is not an easy road win, EVER.. Hats off to the Magic.

JN play very well today but rather that only reason I think he was one of the reasons the magics won. What about DH, CA, KB, RL, etc. performances ?

Last year the Magic were 15-26 on the road. This year they are already 15-5 on the road. They just need to match that road record at home.

Hey Bring Back Bo...

Nelson won the game for us....give me a break. The Magic won in spite of Jameer. Did you miss his turnover's,bad shots & bad passes.

We have to live with him now, as it would make Otis look bad if he isn't starting now with his big contract.

I live & die Magic ever since 7 foot Greg Kite (1990) at center couldn't make a one foot layup, but these guys are going to give me a heart attack.

I wish one game we could put somebody away. Every game's a yo-yo contest.
