Pam, you worry me. This kid probably hasn't had a day at Disney and that's justification for the numerous criminal and violent acts on his record? LOTS of children never have a day at Disney. I've yet to hear a murder use that as a defense statement before a jury. There was nothing keeping him from visiting Disney, however. He could've simply sold the rims he stole after shooting the innocent victim and bought himself a ticket or, heck, why give up nice rims? He could just shoot the guy in the ticket booth and walk right on in. Who knows, maybe while he's there, he can pull on Tigger's tail or make an assault on one of the other characters roaming the park. Are you dipping into this kid's stash???

Now let's go to the guy that held up the lady in her 60's WORKING FOR A LIVING at a small store.
In the report it says no one would hire him. Bet he dropped out of school, wears clothes 3 times his size, cannot read or write. Yep... I would be the first in line to hire this brain surgeon.
He caused the probem and didn't want a murder charge on his rap sheet. fry'm...next idiot please stand up.

Florida is on the decline, that is why I go elsewhere to vacation. There are many nice beaches where the people are much more civilized. I'll bet this child never had a day at Disneyworld.
You are right! My image of Florida is that it is like the old west. Not all of it and certainly not all people but I live in central Florida and its terrible. The crime is out of control. Some people are rude and demanding. Traffic is insane and very dangerous. Police dont seem to be able to control it.
Last nights news was of vacationers getting robbed in the middle of the day. Mickey Mouse has left the building!

Here's another idea. Why don't we just put all of these killing idiots on a bus and transport them to Texas. They have kinda like a no wait policy....hint hint,
We could put jars in stores for donations for the gas and transort crew. The store owners would probably put the most in. Good idea huh:-}
Sorry, but we have enought problems here as it is... How about the United States make a deal with Siberia and we send all of our murderers and hardened criminals there? Siberia could use the money and these criminals could spend their frozen time praying.

There's almost an ironic ring to that last statement about ignorance and Jasper, GA.:)
I really don't understand the mindset that execution is not a deterrent. Is it 100%? No, but obviously incarceration isn't either. Those who want to kill will kill. That's a given. But those who simply view it as an "easy way out" might give it a second thought if they realize they're putting their own life on the line when they take another. And, if it doesn't deter them, then like you...I wonder why we should put another life at risk by releasing them to the streets and/or foot the bill to keep 'em locked up.
The only person that the death penalty deters is the one that gets executed.

You're right. But at this point it doesn't matter. Prison doesn't slow them down and the threat of the death penalty doesn't slow them down. So, the game should now change to get rid of as many as possible before they get rid of us (our society).

<quoted text>From living here in what used to be a beautiful place to live and meeting hundreds of people I'm sorry to say most of them have come from Mich. and N.Y. They have multiplied so much they are killing and stealing from each other. Fresh meat here. Guess I'll have to move up there, should be getting by nice now.
Well it's not.
