Here we have a new rising star in the Republican Party in Florida:
Two separate social media accounts for the campaign of a Florida House candidate are calling for the execution of President Barack Obama.
The first post was made via Twitter around 5:30 p.m. Monday. Republican candidate for Florida House District 68 Joshua Black, whose campaign Twitter handle is @JoshuaBlack2014, retweeted a statement that read "I'm past impeachment. It's time to arrest and hang him high." The person operating the account then added the word "Agreed."
Republican candidate for House District 67 Chris Latvala noticed the tweet and added his own opinion to the discussion.
you aren't seriously calling for the killing of Obama are you? I know you are crazy but good heavens.U R an embarrassment," @ChrisLatvala wrote on Twitter, adding in a separate tweet that Black needs to "go take [his] medicine."
The tweet is still visible on Black's Twitter account and no apology has been issued. On the Facebook page for Black's campaign, there is a post defending the comment from Twitter.
"So, don't stop at impeachment. Remove him. Try him before a jury (the very right that he arbitrarily denied to al-Awaki and his 15-year-old son), and, upon his sure convictions, execute him," the post reads. "Thus has he done, thus it should be done to him."
The district Black is running for represents parts of St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park and Feather Sound, according to JoshuaBlack2014.com .

Truly disgusting but the tweets seem to be the norm for Republicans.

Carol that site you're referencing is misleading and downright false. It states that a figure featured in the frieze above the bench resting his arm on a tablet with the Roman numerals I to X as Moses and the Ten Commandments. It's actually a depiction of the Majesty of Law and the numerals refer to the first ten Amendments to the Constitution. This is borne out by a letter written by the designer of the frieze, Adolph Weinman, in a letter stored in the Supreme Court archives. If you take a tour of the Court you'd find out that the tablets carved in the door represent the same thing. As I've already pointed out Moses isn't given any predominance. Weinman placed Moses somewhat off to the side on the South frieze (not above where the justices are seated). Moses (holding two tablets) is standing among other allegedly historical lawgivers such as Menes (holding an Egyptian ankh), Hammurabi (who allegedly received his laws from the Babylonian Sun God), Solomon (who was wise enough to manage 700 wives and 300 concubines), Solon, the legendary Lycurgus (the central figure, who consulted the Oracle at Delphi), Draco, Confucius, Octavian, Justinian, Muhammad (the polygamist who claimed to have received Islamic law from the god Allah), Charlemagne, King John, the Crusader Louis IX (“Saint Louis”), Hugo Grotius, Sir William Blackstone, John Marshall, and Napoleon, as well as allegorical or mythical lawgivers such as the Greek goddess “Fame,” the Egyptian goddess “Authority,” the “Light of Wisdom” goddess,“Equity,”“Philosophy” and “History.”

The newly declassified documents revealed that President Obama was briefed on the Benghazi terrorist attack minutes after the assault began.
Gen. Carter Ham, then head of AFRICOM, the Defense Department combatant command with jurisdiction over Libya, told a House panel last year in classified testimony that he broke the news of the attack to then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Dempsey and Panetta "had the basic information as they headed across for the meeting at the White House."
When asked directly if Hamm had mentioned to either Dempsey or Panetta about a demonstration rather than a terrorist attack, Hamm replied that the command very quickly got to the point that it was not a demonstration but that "this was a terrorist attack."
Panetta told the Senate last February it was him who informed Obama about the attack.
"There was no question in my mind that this was a terrorist attack," Panetta told the Senate investigation committee.
So Gen. Dempsey and Panetta had "no question in their minds" that this was "a terrorist attack" within minutes after it began and did not tell the President of the United States this information????
Top officials in the State Department also knew immediately it was a terrorist attack but told Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, it wasn't?
You liberals are too gullible for your own good. Power grabbers want you to stay stupid to stay in power. Don't be stupid. It's not attractive.
Obama never said it wasn't a terrorist attack nitwit!

All of the so-called news networks "lean" one way more than the other. Any time opinion enters the broadcast I tend to quit listening.
I'm assuming then that you avoid FOX, MSNBC, CNN along with anything found on talk radio.

"I have found that a certain type that calls himself a liberal - and I always thought I was a liberal! I came up terribly surprised one time when I found that I was a right-wing conservative extremist, when I have listened to everybody's point of view that I ever met and then decide how I should feel. I mean, but this so-called new liberal group, they never listen to your point of view. And they make a decision as to what you think, and they're articulate enough and in control of enough of the press to force that image out for the average person. For some reason, maybe it's these pictures, they have not been able to do that with me. In spite of what they say, people have not taken sides that I'm a, you know ... it hasn't affected my career in popularity, let's say. In spite of the fact that they've tried to make it do it.

"There isn't a hell of a lot that we can do to change human behavior. We keep making laws to try to change human behavior. You can't do it. You can accept it and feel how you would feel in that position. We are being conned into keynesianism and socialism now, but it isn't going to stop the selfishness of human behavior. It isn't going to stop the greed. If you take twenty dollars and give a dollar to every son-of-a-bitch in the room, you come back a year later, one of the bastards will have most of the money. I mean, it's just human nature, and you're not going to lump it with a lot of laws.

"I think when you make people conscious, as communication gets better and you make people conscious of somebody in trouble, starving or something like that, the average person will help. But of course, now it gets so many charities, and there's so much professionalism ... If you have a charity, you hire some professionals to work up the charity, and by the time you get the money you get four dollars for the recipient and four hundred dollars for the administrators. I think there are people who try to effect a thinking, to where they know more than some other son-of-a-bitch, and try to put a false impression on what human nature is. We have proven that we go back to hope at the first opportunity. Just throw out a little fish, and bam, they're out there ready to grab it. So we are optimistic. We have to be optimistic. What else would there be in life if you lose optimism?"

heard that one the day of his first inauguration.

but.....

Democrats have posted their largest lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot since early November, while Republicans have fallen to their lowest level of support in a year.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey for the week ending January 19 finds that 41% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Democrat in their district’s congressional race if the election were held today, unchanged from the previous week. Thirty-five percent (35%) would choose the Republican instead, down two points from the previous survey. The Democrats have now led for three weeks in a row.

Most voters have opposed the new national health care law’s individual mandate in past surveys, but voters are now evenly divided when asked whether the federal government should force every American to have health insurance.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the government should require every American to buy or obtain health insurance, up from 33% in mid-December. But now only 43% oppose the individual mandate, down 15 points from a high of 58% last month. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided.

Yah? That, and telling them only what they want to hear, bolstering their egos with a faux sense of self esteem. Funny how they can reconcile making a better living off welfare (than a minimum wage job) with being a good role model for their children.

Strange,(not really) coz if it was 100% effective there should be a lot less rage among the unemployed. ;)

I suspect public school counselors no longer rag on kids about being underachievers. How sad.
