Three problems with the supposed "surge" in Obamacare sign ups.<quoted text>
It's Eleanor Rigby!!
1. The administration has yet to provide a December update on the 14 states running their own exchanges. California, New York, Washington, Kentucky and Connecticut are doing okay but the others are still struggling.
2. The administration projected more than 3.3 million enrolled by the end of the year. Only 1 million signed up. Only 299 million (plus/minus) left to go.
3. Insurers are complaining that technical problems, largely hidden from consumers, has resulted in the government passing along inaccurate data on enrollees. Obama's worst nightmare is if Americans who signed up and paid their premiums arrive at the pharmacy or the emergency room and find there's no record of their coverage.
There's so much that's yet to be seen. And the name's LoisLane.
