black liberals?
you do know why most black folks are liberals, don't you?
So why don’t blacks vote Republican? The answer is simple. Black people are not crazy. Being not crazy, they understand a simple truth about conservatives: They have never stood with, or up for, black people. Never.
Forget modern controversies like mass incarceration. Social conservatives, then based largely in the Democratic Party of the early to mid 20th century, opposed the Voting Rights Act. They opposed the Civil Rights Act. They opposed school integration. They opposed the Montgomery Bus Boycott. They opposed a law to crack down on lynching.
These are the people for whom African Americans are now supposed to vote? To make the argument is to betray a stunning contempt for the intelligence — and memory — of black voters.
In talking about race, conservatives have all the moral authority of a pimp talking about women’s rights. Granted,“their” blacks might disagree.

Blacks were predominantly Republicans until the late 1930s.
In fact, unanimously Republicans. It was only after the Great Depression and the birth of government dependency that the majority switched parties to became Democrats.

Look it up. You might learn something today.

Fortunately, more are coming back to the party who elected them into public office and passed every single piece of civil rights legislation from the Civil War until the Democrats realized they were a good voting bloc in the mid 20th century.

A Monday report conducted by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service states that the implementation of Obamacare would continue even if Republicans forced a government shutdown by demanding to withhold the law's funding.

"It appears that substantial [Affordable Care Act] implementation might continue during a lapse in annual appropriations that resulted in a temporary government shutdown," the report said.

Moreover, a government shutdown would not suspend the individual mandate requirement, according to the CRS.

Yeah. Perhaps we need to have more than one person in the House of Repreesentatives, and maybe have a Senate added to Congress, too. Maybe we could have more than one political party in that hypothetical Congress.

You don't suppose that approval rating began its abyssmal decline after the Louisiana Purchase and the Cornhusker Kickback, do you?
Maybe it's because they couldn't investigate Eric Holder running guns for Mexican drug cartels. That would surely cause people to think less of Congress. Or, perhaps it is the result of Boehner giving the Democrats everything they wanted at the beginning of this Congress. Or, perhaps it's because Congress isn't doing anything about the obvious unconstitutionality of what this Orwellian big brother government is doing. Or perhaps its because they cut hot food to troops to spend money on Janet Napolitano's massive arms buildup to prepare for a war against the American people.

ROFLMAO at your fkn stupidity. Steve Jobs set up living trusts because he knew that he had serious medical problems. As a result his estate will likely pay no taxes.

Jobs is an exception to the rule.

Trump and Buffet have billion$ in term insurance, Bill Gates has tons of whole life among other forms of insurance. There's a reason for that.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Tuesday stoked the fire in his feud with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), saying the senator should cut Kentucky's "pork barrel spending."

At a news conference announcing grants for homeowners affected by Hurricane Sandy, Christie told reporters that as a "donor state" New Jersey only receives 61 cents back from every dollar it sends to Washington, while Kentucky receives $1.51, according to the AP.

"Maybe he should start cutting the pork barrel spending that he brings home to Kentucky," Christie told reporters, as quoted by PolitickerNJ. "But I doubt he will because most Washington politicians only care about bringing home the bacon so that they can get re-elected."

Russia, India, Sweden, Philippines, Columbia, Thailand and Spain are countries successfully targeted by terrorists.

What did they do to interfere with Middle Eastern affairs?
