In what way did the bill threaten to close nearly all abortion clinics?
#932413 Jun 26, 2013
Hillary will not be the nominee because Obama will choose his own candidate.
There will definitely be leaked stories about Hillary's age and health. The stroke is probably enough, without bringing up dementia.

we'll just point out the right wing efforts to keep black people from voting.

Okay, let's try this one more time-
Massachusetts-longggg time blue state, as in the D labelduhm label-NOT the R lableduhm label.
See: bloviated hot air O'Kennedy moss covered senate seat or IE: NO CHANGE YET.
Probably mostly due to low voter turn outs, probably because of indifferences due to burn out of having to endure years of same bloviated o'kennedy stagnant hot air partisan poliTical pollution.
On the brighter side-the NEW kids are "just getting starrrrrted, just getting starrrrted...."

Let's see this happen in some place where everyone knows how to use a gun.

Congress has been punting this for decades now the court is forcing them to address it.
IMO, good move by the court.
I find it ironic that Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga who was beaten in Selma in the 60's objects to the court's reasoning that times have changed and that the calculation that treats certain states separately and unequally needs to be revisited. He was once a civil rights activist beaten for fighting for his right to vote and now he's a congressman representing one of the black-balled states.
Nothing has changed in almost 50 years?

How about people who participate in sports that are likely to result in significant injuries with huge medical bills...such as skiers, skydivers, horseback jumpers, skateboarders, etc.?

Nearly three quarters of voters (74 percent) in the state say personal, private medical decisions about whether to have an abortion should be made by a woman, her family, and her doctor, not by politicians; just 19 percent of voters think government has a right and an obligation to pass restrictions on abortion. Support for a woman’s ability to make decisions on abortion for herself is both broad and deep, including among Independents(76 percent) and Republicans (61 percent).
Texas soon to be Blue.

... or they could change their draconian platform to better reflect the nation's changing demographic.
Yeah, like THAT'S gonna happen!
I think they could split into at least two parties. I propose one of the new parties be called The Non-stupid "Conservatives Who Know the Meaning of the Word Conservative" Party or NSCWKTMOTWCP.
I know, needs a little work to fit it onto a bumper sticker.

Minn. state Rep. Ryan Winkler calls Clarence Thomas an Uncle Tom, claims he didn’t know it was offensive...I am sure you like myself will be calling Winkey's office and telling him how offensive as an elected official it is. Keep trying-the phones have been busy-it may take a while to get through.
At the top of his list of committees he sits on is CIVIL LAW--yet plays the dumb card when caught.

What I noticed was missing from the story was any sort of logic or reason on either your's or CNS' part.
Did you stop to think of how those tens of thousands of ALLEGED (yeah, I'm not buying their story for a minute) workers qualified for a refund if they're not paying income taxes?
No, you didn't and CNS is smart enough to know that you're that dumb.

Still trying to blame Freddie and Fannie for the housing meltdown Carol? The fact that you seem to ignore is that they didn't initiate any loans. They did buy subprime loans but another thing you conveniently ignore is that those loans were rated AAA by ratings agencies like Moody's and Standard and Poor's. And who pays these agencies? The same institutions that they're rating. Does anybody but me think there's something wrong with this?
No one was forced to give loans to unqualified buyers liar. Only banks chartered under the FDIC were affected by the CRA and their loans were subject to regular scrutiny by bank examiners. Mortgage lenders like Countrywide and Indy Mac weren't subject to scrutiny and they're the ones who made the toxic loans, bundled them up into mortgage backed securities and sold them before they went bad.
Just who did the economy take off for Carol? The big investors and speculators who were handed a lot of money to gamble with. Not ordinary people. job growth under Bush was pitiful and wages were stagnant.
By the way Carol, Alan Greenspan was one of your fellow Ayn Rand devotees.

I bet you are correct. I hear about a poll this morning where oLiar's approval rating is only 31% now with unaffiliated voters.
