332 Obama vs 206 Romney.
Obama has won an overwhelming majority in the Electoral College, a majority of the popular vote and a majority of the nation’s states—including most of the country’s largest states and states in every major region of the republic: New England, the mid-Atlantic, the Great Lakes, the South, the Southwest, the Mountain West and the West. Winning all battle ground states but one.
Look, it's painful to watch your team get smashed. I get it, but this wasn't even close and taking 51% as the popular vote is a landslide(which you are rounding down because if memory serves me right it was 51.7% which would make it closer to 52% rounded up), because any way you slice it he won with millions more voting for him than everyone else.(you know, there was other people running in the election.) Romney got 47% of the vote (47%... where did I hear that number before....)
So landslide, by definition a crushing defeat. ideals completely rejected, theme not acceptable, no one wants what you are selling, Maybe next time, sorry I am just not that into you, we are just different people now with different paths and this isn't going to work out.
Math doesn't change either way you work it out.

Tamerlan and his mother vaguely discussed Jihad.

Compared to the US, Russia has very few malcontents to monitor and much less of a language barrier yo overcome.

Chances are very good that the Tsarnaev's had been on Russia's watch list for a good number of years due to the family requesting asylum.

In a first, black voter turnout rate passes whites

America's blacks voted at a higher rate than other minority groups in 2012 and by most measures surpassed the white turnout for the first time, reflecting a deeply polarized presidential election in which blacks strongly supported Barack Obama while many whites stayed home.

Had people voted last November at the same rates they did in 2004, when black turnout was below its current historic levels, Republican Mitt Romney would have won narrowly, according to an analysis conducted for The Associated Press.

Census data and exit polling show that whites and blacks will remain the two largest racial groups of eligible voters for the next decade. Last year's heavy black turnout came despite concerns about the effect of new voter-identification laws on minority voting, outweighed by the desire to re-elect the first black president.

When MSN is even worried about the economy...

http://money.msn.com/investing/c_galleryregul...

The Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England and the Bank of Japan are all printing money and injecting it into the financial systems in various ways and, while this is giving stocks a sugar rush, it's not really helping the real economy heal its deep wounds. Despite the fact the Fed has nearly quadrupled the monetary base since 2008 and pushed inflation-adjusted interest rates deep into negative territory, we've experienced the weakest postwar recovery on record. And by many measures, things are starting to stall again.

...Obamacare is the noose around this economy and job creation. Time to stop blaming Bush and take a good look at Obama.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-- Just as the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church choir began its final hymn, a man vaulted over pews and lashed out at the singers, sending four churchgoers to the hospital with stab wounds, authorities said.

Worshippers screamed as the shocking and chaotic scene unfolded Sunday with the attacker continuing the onslaught until he was tackled and held by church members for officers, who raced to the scene, police said.

Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Lawrence Capener

Russia’s National Counterterrorism Committee (NAK) says a security operation in the North Caucasus republic of Daghestan has resulted in the deaths of two members of a local criminal group.

The information center at the NAK said on April 24 that security forces were tipped off that two militants were in the village of Sogratl in Daghestan’s Gubin district.

Security forces blocked off access to the building the armed men were in and called on them to surrender.

The two men reportedly “fired indiscriminately” and were killed when security forces returned fire.

MSN - Stanford economist John B. Taylor discussed in the Wall Street Journal that we need to reduce people's expectation of future taxes by shrinking the influence the government has on the economy. It performed its role getting us out of the financial crises. Now, it's time to step aside and let entrepreneurs and the free market get to work.

http://money.msn.com/investing/c_galleryregul...

Again, MSN is even starting to get it. Maybe some on the left here should too. Obama's vision of big government is the problem. It always has been.
