Barack Obama, our next President

<quoted text> So who exactly did George Bush represent? No child left behind act, created & passed to usher in a generation of illiterate ghetto children, not able to compete in todays economic society.
Where was he when Hurricane Katrina unfolded on the shores of theSouth? On vacation, & intentionally flew over the disaster on his way back. Didn't stop or order immediate response to women & children escaping the waters barely by positioning themselves on the roofs of their homes for the better part of a week. You didn't know Bush ordered gun confiscation during Katrina, did you? You didn't know 2500 inmates were murdered execution style during Katrina, did you?
The president of the United States of America's job as elected, is to impose is ideology on America. That's the reason he was elected. Those are the messages he ran his campaign on. Those are the reasons majority of Americans elected and re-elected him. That's the purpose of a democratic process. You mistake majority rules for, minority ignored. How exactly does he ignore"half" of the country? This ought to be a good one! He's a democrat, you're republican. By definition, you're opposed to his ideology no matter what. Everyday you come on topix & whine about nonsense concerning the president like"he wears hanes, they cost more than Fruit of the Loom. All on the tax payers dime," as if he's the first president to life on the tax payers dime! The true spirit of the democratic process is, know even if you disagree with the presidents ideology, you still support him as you support your country, knowing he's up for reelection in only 4yrs. In the history of America, there's been more republican presidents than democrat. Nobody cried when republicans consecutively held office. Republicans even have the nerve to tell black folks"we should stop making excuses, slavery has been over." Yet y'all can't get over the fact that we have a black president, or that the demographic of Americas fabric has changed. All y'all do is talk shit, & point fingers. I don't think George Bush had bad intentions for the country, he was just incompetent, & everyone knew that & still backed his every move. You've lost your American spirit, & now blame & call Obama the divider. An imposter in the office, you can't be serious!
The No Child Left Behind Act actually did have unintended consequences.

Now teachers are just teaching a test. Which is not good.

I'm opposed to everything Obama believes and stands for. Everything you can possibly think of.

History will not be kind to us for being so easily swayed.

I understand that thinking is not your strong suit like slinging slurs is but..

You claimed Obama killed the border guard. You were implying that since a gun that were lost through Fast & Furious was used by one of the drug dealers in that shootout, that it was Obama's fault.

For that to be valid, then you would have to assume that without this fast & Furious gun, that the shooters would no be armed at all. Otherwise the border agent would have been shot by a gun obtained elsewhere.

No, no, Lily. You misunderstood...again.

Obama uses every opportunity to promote his "vision" on every issue which, by the way, is unraveling even as we speak.

He has referred to Americans who disagree with him as "enemies".

I would put nothing past him. Nothing. Not even using the most somber occasions to make it political and lecturing us again about his own personal narcissitic vision.

Oh, yes...<snap>...I DID say that!

He should stick to holding babies who stop crying. That's where he has any credibility at all in my book.

Trust no one. I think that it is a human fault that we seek heroes in our daily life only to become disappointed down the road. A mature reality is one that accepts the fragility of human weaknesses while admiring the strengths without indulging in hero worship.

I told everyone years ago it was going to take 10 years to overcome the Bush years, we're not even half way out of the woods yet.
Okay, Homer...you really need to let go of the past now and move on.

Otherwise, we'll have to start blaming presidents as far back as President Grover.

This president has had four years to do a heck of a lot better than where we are.

But Obamacare was his first priority. Look where THAT'S gotten us.

Maybe it will take a radical far rightwing president to dismiss the other half of the country and call them the "enemy" before the left gets it.

I'd be against that president too.

If we invested half the money we spend towards Planned Parenthood on public service announcements educating women about the reality of abortion as a consequence instead of a form of birth control and designed a curriculum in the public schools showing an actual abortion with even more education about the reality of unprotected sex, there wouldn't be near the number of abortions and atrocities we're seeing today.
The world is rid of Saddam and his two raping and torturing children sons.
The WMDs are now in Syria. Or did Syria suddenly just develop these weapons on their own? If so, where did they get the materials?
The world provided Saddam with these materials when he was once considered an ally with the intended purpose that they were being used for medical research.
So where did Syria get them?
Syria had WMD's before Iraq did you mullet, that's been explained to you a hundred times already and you've been linked to the proof. You know dik about the middle East or how government(s) work and get crazier with each post.

Obama should go back to being a good community organizer. He does have a side to him that is charming and convincing when it comes to just acting like a nice guy.

But he has too many skeletons in his closet - and some are still alive and kicking - to be the leader of this nation.
