Judged: 7 7 7 You are very ignorant of US history. Let me help you correct that. Here is a link where you can actually read the quotes from the Democrats when they were negotiating with the Republicans with outright lies to get no effective oversight of their Marxist CRA program that was an obvious failure in 2003: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1222905743912... Now, this will require that you think for yourself and draw your own conclusion about what the above facts mean: In 2003 the Democrats supported Bush and the war in Iraq. In 2003 the Republicans supported the Democrats' Marxist subnprime loan program. Do you think there was a connection there? Considering the fact that it was the Democrats' Marxist subprime housing loan program that collapsed our economy, what lessons do you think we should have learned from the above facts of history? |

Judged: 7 7 7 Oh, jeeezzz.... what bullshit. A person born a minority has more opportunity than a non-minority. All they have to do is take advantage of those opportunities. Ever hear of "affirmative action", you goddam idiot? If you want to actually discuss this, please tell us why minorities still aren't taking advantage of those opportunities that have been available to them for fifty goddam years. Why do you think this is the fact? |

Judged: 7 7 7 As with many religions, political parties have a tendency to start as a movement, transform into a business, and finally degenerate into a racket designed to fleece the yokels. One organization which has gone out of its way to illustrate this evolution is the Republican Party. And it has done so with a national scope and fundraising apparatus that would have made Jimmy Swaggart or Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker mute with awe. By "Republican Party" I mean both the formal party and its extended apparat: talk radio and the Fox News empire, pressure groups like the Family Research Council, allegedly "educational" 501(c)3 organizations like the Heritage Foundation, direct mail outfits descended from the original Richard Viguerie mother ship, polling firms like Rasmussen's, and the Tea Party itself (the latter nevertheless asserts its non-affiliation with the GOP despite its having sponsored the Florida Republican presidential candidates' debate in 2011). True believers in this multi-faceted scam are usually careful to make a (false) distinction between the institutional GOP and the so-called conservative movement. The Republican Party and its grandees, according to this fable, are not "true conservatives." By 2008, the operatives of the racket were already saying this about George W. Bush, but that assessment required them to perform the mental gymnastics of forgetting that only a few years earlier, they were eager to nominate Dubbya to the next available vacancy in the Trinity. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-s-lofgr... .... The voting base itself, endlessly stoked by talk radio and Fox News, thrives on its martyr-like self-image as a persecuted remnant of Real Americans.... |

Judged: 7 7 7 The president’s surprise call for an increase to $9 an hour in the State of the Union has the GOP on the wrong end of popular opinion again. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/02... ....again. |

Judged: 7 7 7 It wasn't me that went for race, dufus. That's the way the goddam laws were written. Please tell us about "affirmative action", then tell us after 50 goddam years of preferrential treatment, minorities still aren't taking advantage of the opportunities that have been given specifically to them and no other race for 50 years. Why do you think minorities aren't taking advantage of the opportunities established solely for them? |

Judged: 8 8 8 Get rid of the minimum wage entirely. If a person is still making minimum wage after any appreciable time working for a living, that's all they are worth... if that much. Why should an employer pay more for the same useless employee? |

Judged: 7 7 7 What opportunities are you harping on? Did you ever think the need for affirmative action points directly to the inequalities/biases black people face. If blacks have more opportunities, why then don't you state them & make them clear because affirmative action only made it so a certain% of black were offered the same opportunities as white people. Please do back up your claims with evidence. Teach me something I don't know! |

Judged: 7 7 7 i just love it when those on the wrong side of public opinion just want to get rid of the issue that they can't win. we see that on FOX a lot. |

Judged: 7 7 7 What don't you understand about the legislators rebelling against the federal republic not being the representation of the state of Virginia in the federal republic? "New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress." Since it was only one state, and the legislators rebelling against the federal republic and participating as a funcitoning element of another country cannot be considered as representation in the federal republic for the state of Virginia, and the legislators loyal to the federal republic petitioned for the creation of a new state, and Congress consented to this request, how the hell do you figure West Virginia was unconstitutionally admitted? Show us where the loyal legislators of Virginia violated this clause: "Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence." If you cannot show that this clause was violated, then you have to admit that West Virginia was admitted into the union constitutionally. |

Judged: 7 7 7 More "victim" bullshit. Everyone is a goddam victiim, dufus. Life isn't fair. Get used to that fact of life. Now, since you are admitting that the affirmative action programs gave preferrential treatment to black people, please continue the discussion and tell us why black people are still in the same situation now as they were 50 years ago when the preferrrential treatment for them began. ... well? |
