Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

For example, the Vanguard Total Stock Market Fund has a 10-yr annual return of 8.5%, spanning the market decline.
Of course, if you invested all your money in General Motors, you got hosed by Obama.

What do you think of the insurance idea regarding guns? I think it's a great idea the more I hear about it. Let the insurance companies regulate the gun owners.
Great idea!!

They do the same for folks who own dangerous breeds of dogs, so the precedent is there..........

History has proven Nixon to have been a consumate criminal and liar.

Funny you would use him as an example of honesty!!

""Sunday, November 18, 1973; Page A01

Orlando, Fla, Nov. 17 -- Declaring that "I am not a crook," President Nixon vigorously defended his record in the Watergate case tonight and said he had never profited from his public service.

"I have earned every cent. And in all of my years of public life I have never obstructed justice," Mr. Nixon said.

"People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook. I've earned everything I've got."

Shortly after, Nixon was tarred and feathered and run out of DC on a rail.

Figures you'd admire a crook like him.

You adore the two worst Presidents in American history:

Nixon and GW Bush.

Why am I not surprised??

You conveniently ignored the fact that the Alger Hiss conviction propelled Nixon onto the national stage.
And, you conveniently ignored the fact that all McCarthy was doing was repeating what Nixon had done.
Alger Hiss was the most prominent Democrat aside from the sitting president. Alger Hiss was the instrumental lead for the United States in constructing the United Nations. Alger Hiss was the instrumental lead in construction of the redesigned State Department after the war.
Alger Hiss was convicted while spying for the Soviet Union in 1948.
The national prominence given to Nixon due to the conviction of Alger Hiss was the sole instrument of forcing Nixon on the ballot in 1952.
Because a proven and convicted communist spy had designed and staffed the post-war State Department, it's a logical conclusion that communists were in the US State Department.
Thus, McCarthy's attempt to recreate the Nixon effect.
McCarthy was lured away from the State Department. He was foolish enough to take that bait.
But, the question he continually asked is still unanswered:
"Are there communists in the State Department?"
You really need to augment your indoctrination with an education, dufus.

Your obsession with Dave is troubling, even for a nitwit like you!!

Dave owns you, he's deep inside your head, you're obsessed with him!!

He beats you like a drum yesterday, and you come back projecting your stupidity and asking for more.

YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT SEC OF STATE IS A CABINET POST.

If you have a shred of self respect remaining, you'll give up and quit making yourself look even more of a fool.

The MediCare is working out just fine so far and while I haven't used it yet it's saving me over $10K per year.

Also, the 6th gen cars are fast as hell and OK looking, should be a decent year for the big teams. I went Thursday for a while, there was a lot of activity both on and off the track.

All of this matters just about as much as the gun control charade. Both just diversions from the serious issues of the budget and the debt.

so where is Obama's choice? seems conservatives only want white folks in government. otherwise they throw a fit.
The simple fact is that Republicans could not have blocked Susan Rice, or any other appointee, if Obama had really wanted her. Obama preferred Kerry over Rice.

Are you serious??

It grows tiresome correcting your stupidity.

Any Senator can put a HOLD on any Presidential Appointee.

----------

""In the United States Senate, a hold is a parliamentary procedure permitted by the Standing Rules of the United States Senate which allows one or more Senators to prevent a motion from reaching a vote on the Senate floor.

If the Senator provides notice privately to his or her party leadership of their intent (and the party leadership agreed), then the hold is known as a secret or anonymous hold. If the Senator actually objects on the Senate floor or the hold is publicly revealed, then the hold is more generally known as a Senatorial hold.""

Liberal Idiot New York Mayor Bloomberg declared yesterday that some Americans “shouldn’t have guns”. We’re talking about one of the Liberal Left’s main leaders and he believes that we, the people shouldn’t have guns?!? Red flag alert on this loony Lefty. Blooming Loony points to a mental case to make his case which suggests that there are Americans who “shouldn’t have guns” when the truth is that ALL Americans have the right to bear arms!

I would hope that even Left-leaning Americans would see how dangerous men like Bloomberg are and just how at-risk the rest of us become when we allow fools like him to assume positions of power. We at VOTN pray that most Liberal Lefties can now see how idiotic this man and his overbearing government policies are and maybe start to lean a little more toward reasonable, rational Right thinking, like most Americans.

Our founders put the 2nd Amendment in place to protect we, the people from overbearing jackasses like Mayor Blooming Idiot. Our founders clearly knew that all of us would be at risk if and when dangerous Liberals got into positions of power. Thank God our founders were almost exclusively Right thinking men of God.

Bloomberg is a perfect example of how sick and dangerous a person can get when they choose a selfish lifestyle and self-centered living. So many of Bloomberg’s recent causes reflect the kind of arrogance which would ultimately wreak havoc on unsuspecting innocent Americans, and so many of his recent bizarre attempts to control we, the people, including disarming us, would put us at the mercy of tyrants and oppression that men like Bloomberg would hope to wield against us.

The gloves are apparently off. It’s time we eliminate from the political landscape these kinds of self-serving men who only lust for more power and more influence, but who prove almost daily that they aren’t responsible enough for the task. It’s time to vote out all Lefties, Liberals and anyone with a jackass next to their name.

However, you can judge whether the Justice Department "enforcing" these laws had a positive impact or not.
no, NO lenders were forced to make any loans.

Please name ONE bank that has stated they were forced to give a loan?
