Judged: 7 7 7 History class again. This time, don't sleep through it. First, some civics. The president cannot invent spending programs. Congress has total control of all spending, revenue and borrowing. And now, some history. dot-com bust Arab jihad murders 3000 Americans and declares a global war on the United States Wars have a cost. January, 2007, Democrats take control of all the purse strings of government. Deficit is 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollars. What's the deficit today? Did you say 10 times what the deficit was the Democrats started with? Total debt in 2001 was 5 trillion dollars before the Arab jihad declared war on the United States. In January, 2007, the Democrats took control of all the purse strings of government with a total debt of 8 trillin dollars, 3 trillion dollars of debt being added due to the dot-com bust and the war the Arab jihad started. What is the debt today? Did you say twice what the Democrats started with? The recession was caused by the Democrats' Marxist subprime housing mortgage underwriting program. No escaping that fact. You may bring this new information to your next indoctrination session. I know it's not included in the material you're programmed to regurgitate. |

Judged: 8 7 7 That was her specific job, dufus. And, you're right. She didn't verify anything. If she did, then Clinton wouldn't have bombed Iraq every other goddam day. Valerie Plame was the managing director for the CIA's intelligence operation on Saddam Hussein's WMD programs. Vallerie Plame reported to Bill Clinton that Saddam Hussein had viable WMD programs. Valerie Plame reported to Bush43 that Saddam Hussein had viable WMD programs. Valerie Plame was responsible for the WMD part of the 18 UN resolutions being ignored justification to remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq. That was her assigned job. She headed the operation. She generated all analysis given to Clinton, who used it to bomb Iraq every other day, and to Bush 43, who used it to remove Saddam Hussein from power. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Since WHEN do House Reps consider actual issues such as this? You know full well exactly what they will do on 1/2/2013 - vote for a fake tax cut thereby approving a tax hike. Do you think there is any other ending to this game? |

Judged: 6 6 6 This is was the prediction after Obama got re-elected. Rather than accepting the peoples voice, they want to hear their own even thou the world consensus view is tea baggers are idiots. Not only deliberately bring the US economy down, it will make another big hit on the world economy compounding the problem. All over not wanting to pay tax. It is so f...d up its like you are dealing with stone age thinking. Who would set out to deliberately destroy their own country over greed. These ppl do & do it over n over again. It is exactly the same as burning your house down in protest over land tax increase. No other word for it, America's Taliban are alive and well. |

Judged: 6 6 6 Bull$hit! CUT WHAT!! Every state has taken big hits on lost money from the feds and it is obvious even your own ppl posting here about counties having to reduce police and fire depts due to no money. Yet you say MORE can be cut. How about killing off anyone over 60, that would help fix the budget. Kill off anyone whose IQ is lower than 80 , that would help as well. Then all that would be left is a smart younger generation to start over without all the BS. |

Judged: 6 6 6 And that is just mind boggling....wth kind of world do these poli-"kids" live in anyway...lalaland? The last time the Senate passed a budget was on April 29, 2009. Since that date, the federal government has spent $9.4 trillion, adding $4.1 trillion in debt. As of January 20, the outstanding public debt stands at $15,240,174,635,409. Interest payments on the debt are now more than $200 billion per year. President Obama proposed a FY2012 budget last year, and the Senate voted it down 97–0.(And that budget was no prize—according to the Congressional Budget Office, that proposal never had an annual deficit of less than $748 billion, would double the national debt in 10 years and would see annual interest payments approach $1 trillion per year.) The Senate rejected House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s (R–WI) budget by 57–40 in May 2011, with no Democrats voting for it. In FY2011, Washington spent $3.6 trillion. Compare that to the last time the budget was balanced in 2001, when Washington spent $1.8 trillion ($2.1 trillion when you adjust for inflation). Entitlement spending will more than double by 2050. That includes spending on Medicare, Medicaid and the Obamacare subsidy program, and Social Security. Total spending on federal health care programs will triple. By 2050, the national debt is set to hit 344 percent of Gross Domestic Product. ****** Taxes paid per household have risen dramatically, hitting $18,400 in 2010 (compared with $11,295 in 1965). If the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts expire and more middle-class Americans are required to pay the alternative minimum tax (AMT), taxes will reach unprecedented levels. Federal spending per household is skyrocketing. Since 1965, spending per household has grown by nearly 162 percent, from $11,431 in 1965 to $29,401 in 2010. From 2010 to 2021, it is projected to rise to $35,773, a 22 percent increase. |

Judged: 12 12 12 I agree, but that's NOT what your elected Republicans are doing, In simple terms they are quite happy for the 2-3%'rs to pay 12%-14% of their income on average of tax collectwhile those in the middle are paying 30% or more. That's DOUBLE, yet that is what Obama wants to restore, get that balance back to where it should be. You can rant on about the freeloaders day in day out, it doesn't change a f...g thing. If you want services then you need to get more ppl earning a better income that is spread out over a greater percentage of the population, not a small percentage that keeps shrinking every 5 yrs. That is Capitalism at is worst and destined for a complete failure, because that is WHY you have high tax rates on high incomes. To keep a balance between having an economy that thrives or self implodes. Every country practicing this policy is in the top 10 of growth rates RIGHT NOW, including those pesky Canadians to the north. |
