There's really no need to discuss further the progressive politically correct nonsense in our public schools. This pretty much sums it up.
A first-grade girl in West Marion, North Carolina, wrote a poem honoring her two grandfathers who served in Vietnam for a Veteran's Day assembly.
She had written about both of her grandfathers:“He prayed to God for peace. He prayed to God for strength.”
Another parent found out about this and complained to the school district.
The McDowell County Board of Education had a meeting...yes, you read that right...the Board of Education had a "meeting"...and the word "God" was stripped from this first-graders poem.
If we can't all agree this is nothing but politically correct unconstitutional nonsense which is decaying the public schools and society as a whole, we might as well surrender now. This is how it begins. Complacency is how it will end.
This is not the first time public schools have silenced children who exercise their freedom of speech and their freedom to express religion. It won't be the last.
Do any of us really believe this would have happened if this child had mentioned Allah or Buddha?
Censorship inside of academia is rampant. Not just in grade schools but all the way to the Ivory Tower. It ain't gettin' better, either, since the Boy Messiah got in.

Good people need to feel that "We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."

Winnie knew the feeling of fighting ignorance and evil. Fight the good fight.

The US added 146,000 jobs in November, official data shows, as the economy seemingly shrugged off storm Sandy.
The unexpectedly strong performance brought the unemployment rate down to
a four-year low of 7.7% of the workforce.
The jobs figure was well above most analysts' expectations and continued a recent surge that begun in July.
Weekly jobs claims registered a sharp but short-lived jump in the number claiming benefits in the states ravaged by the storm last month.
"Our analysis leads us to conclude that Hurricane Sandy did not substantively impact the national employment and unemployment estimates for November," said John Galvin, acting commissioner at the Bureau of Labour Statistics (BLS), which produced the jobs report.
Lincoln Dumbkhoff, go play with your propaganda books.

"On its surface, the drop in the unemployment rate doesn’t appear to have come through strength in the job market, but because of people dropping out of the labor force. There were 229,000 fewer unemployed people looking for work in November, but that was overwhelmed by a 350,000 decline in the total labor force. Indeed, the number of people with jobs declined by 122,000."

There have been national scandals this past year regarding school administrators who directed their underlings to change student test scores. They had weekend "Test Changing Parties". Last week, there were local news reports in Deetroit about similar cheating occurring. Urban "educators" need better numbers.

You own a home worth $50,000. The property tax rate in your area is $3.45 per thousand. Your property tax would be $172.50. The folks down the block own a home worth $300,000. Their property tax would be $1035. Are the folks who have a more valuable home penalized and taxed a higher rate than you are. No. The tax rate is equal for all.

You really are a total idiot.

We have a graduated income tax. We've had it for a long time.

You really need to understand how it works.

I pay no more or no less than anyone else.

We all pay the same.

I'll tell you what, you take all federal spending & divide it by the population & tax that way.

See how that works out you f*cking idiot. Good luck collecting that tax on those making under $50k.

We have a graduated income tax for that reason. If you don't like it, take your whining ass & leave. We wouldn't have to hear your constant bitching about supporting your own country.

The reason for a progressive tax rate is simple. Currently to raise the same amount as the IRS has coming in it would take everyone paying a tax rate of 23%. So you think someone working for minimum wage wouldn't be hard pressed to pay there bills and buy food and gas and health care plus pay 23% tax? Compare that to people like Mitt that make more than the average income of a working person in one day. You think that someone making billions per year like the Walton Family should pay no more in tax % than the minimum wage workers they have?

They'll ask the Boy Messiah for help. No joke, either.

Deetroit is broke and getting broker. The corruption and malfeasance is so pervasive that the governor wants to send in an Emergency Manager. The (black) City Council cries racism and fights it. Other black cities play the same game like Flint and Benton Harbor. Cheat, steal and run their cities into the ground and then demand that out-state taxpayers cover their azzes. Very old story. We already subsidize these urban centers in countless ways with our taxes. We subsidize their auto insurance(high crime rate) and homeowners insurance(high crime rate) and their internet service(Universal Service Tax), to name just a tiny few.

Get the picture?

So you can imagine my disgust when yesterday's evening news showed me this: Deetroit City Council Members are calling on the Boy Messiah to bail out their city with Federal Money!

This is NOT a joke but another racist shuk-n-jive rip-off of hard working American taxpayers. You think the Fiscal Cliff is bad? Wait until the Boy Messiah starts shoveling your hard-earned dollars over to millions of Trayvon Martins. The blood will flow.

Are these idiots STILL mad about the 2008 election cycle? I would have expected them to be dying left and right from heart attacks and strokes by now.

Funny thing is, it's four years later, they must still have electricity in their home or they wouldn't be able to still send their nitwitted rants. Then two, they could be stealing electricity OR have purchased solar panels and living off the grid.

Of course! Because you said so.

And because you desperately need to change the subject because you simply can't defend racist and Socialist failures in academia.

Why not try another Bush-Bashing? That's ALWAYS an option open to propagandists like you.
