My husband and I are moving to Orlando area with our 3 daughters in spring of 2015. We have family that lives right in Orlando but are wanting something on the outskirts of the city. Can anyone suggest a small town or country area that is near? Also, your opinions on the schools. Our girls are will be in 5th, 7th and 9th grade.
Any and all is welcome! We do not want to come down blind and pick a place only to hate the area.

Really depends on your income and lifestyle / standard of living. Longwood and the Wekiwa Springs area is nice. Be sure to not set yourselves up for lengthy commutes on I-4. The road becomes a parking lot very day. Also, I assume you've spent an entire summer here?? If not you are in for a rude awakening come next May. Summer is 8 months long here and quite miserable.
PS: Ignore the inevitable post about crooked cops from our resident loony bird. He's quite bittter and insane.
