I don't know where you got your information from but you are soooo very wrong. The young girl that I know very well who testified against him will never forget him and neither will I...His sentence covers all the crap he did but did not get busted for. He was an "outlaw" and did many things in the club house that the police never found out about..feel sorry for someone else, you are wasting your time

I was there. I helped pick up pieces of the two bodies of those girls. It never ceases to amaze me that you bleeding heart liberals are so quick to jump to the defense of some slime bag. Next time you need a cop, just call an Outlaw Biker. That'll get you some real help. As far as your husband being convicted of a murder "he was a witness to", did he make any move to stop it? Did he do anything at all to stop it? I'll bet that answer is "No, but.........." I also knew two Outlaws, both of whom are now dead who said that Spaziano did it. They also told me that they would deny ever having said such a thing..... Spaziano is in prison....he'll stay in prison.

If I may, I'd like to correct part of your comment.

You said, "He was an "outlaw" and did many things in the club house that the police never found out about....."

We found out about a lot of things he allegedly did, a lot of things HE claimed he did, and a lot of things other people said he did. We just couldn't prove it, and that is the operative word.
Prove....

I am probably younger than the majority of those who commented on this article, not to mention a hell of a lot more informed about this case. Before you so eagerly add your bloodthirsty sentiments to this delightful list, read something other than one biased article. Joe Spaziano is no more guilty of the crimes that robbed him of his life than you or I; if the courts could prove he was in any way guilty, he would already be long dead. If you disagree, then fine, join the ranks of the corrupt and self-serving government officials who call this trainwreck 'justice'.

Temple-Mello, his lawyer, states time and again that he only believed a tiny handful of his death row clients were truly innocent. He was a supporter of the death penalty for quite some time.

Do your homework before making such absurd and INCORRECT statements.

Oh. You were there? Well great, so you know that one of the bodies you helped retrieve was never even determined to be female? And the cause of death for both bodies remains unknown? Opinions other than yours, when justified with evidence (or lack thereof) are just as valid as your own, so don't be so quick to condemn all those who disagree with you.

Don't be a smart ass, little girl. YES, I was there. To my knowledge, both bodies were determined to be female by a forensic anthropologist. You are correct regarding the cause of death. Cause of death cannot be usually be determined from bone fragments. On the other hand, very few people go to a dump, sit down and die. If you are so enamored with this worthless piece of human fecal matter, spend you money, your time, your effort, your whatever, defending him. He'll still be guilty AND he'll still be in prison. I'm not dealing with OPINIONS here. Don't wast your time with another typical left-wing attorney response. If you aren't an attorney, you sure sound like one. My comments on
Crazy Joe will not change things, NOR WILL YOURS.
My part of this discussion is over. G'day!

Temple,
he's not even guilty. mellow, as you call him, did believe in the death row for the guilty. he was not, however, an advocate for wrongful convictions. i would suggest doing your research before running your mouth.

The fact remains, he did what he did, while I am a strong opposer of the death penalty , he's where he belongs. I don't doubt he was a loving father, sociopaths have many sides. And sadly, there is no changing them...rehabilitation.

Yes, he did both. Why he and others were never brought to trial for girls/women they murdered is a classic mentality of the legal system back then...they were prostitutes, run always, drug addicts who brought it on them self.
