Glad you put this on here. I need all the help I can get. I hate housework, cooking and yard work. If it wasn't for Banquet this ole man would probably starve!

Omigosh! You really DID start a new thread!

What, pray tell, is a Boston Butt? Is it contagious?

I did make my world-famous meat loaf last night, back by popular demand. The public clamors for it!

It is a cheapo cut of pork.
I cooks a big un til tender like a roast today and then tomorrow have leftovers with some barBQ sauce and some overly processed white bread.
Two meals for the price of one.

That sounds yummy. We probably call it something different out here.

Ground glass.

I gotta run some errands with the little one. When I come back, I'll give you the recipe if you like. Been making it since I was a blushing bride.

haven't cut my tongue yet.

for a real easy and cheap dinner (or breakfast/lunch), try my famous pb&j recipe.

2 slices of bread

slap peanut butter on one

slap jelly on t'other

slap together and slide until the slices line up.

bite, chew & swallow.

for an occasional variation - you can play around with this recipe by toasting the bread slices first.

(let slices cool before applying pb&j)

Actually warm PB&Js are quite good.

Lightly toast your bread, slather on the PB&J,wrap sandwich in a paper towel and microwave for about 20 seconds.

It's very tasty.

Those are great when I'm really busy that day. I prefer the roasted chicken breast because you get more meat for your money. I doctor it up a bit and get several meals out it! Sometimes I sautee some veggies and add some chicken and stock, then put over wild rice or whole grain pasta. It's sooo good! Any chicken left over, I use for sandwiches or chicken barbecue.

Vlad -- you've just given me a great idea for my next dinner party. Last time I entertained, I made Veal Prince Orlov with Pommes a la Polonaise, but I love your menu.

Sanka's a trip, all right. Like a trip to the dentist! hahahahaha

Sorry you're not feeling well, PLL. Just hang around here for a while & stick that veggie pizza in the oven. Or why not have pork sandwiches?

Oh Monica..I think it was so cool/cute the way Sanka said things...I've got pets too.
Think we're just porked out around here..hubby grabbed the thing out of freezer because didn't know what that storm was going to do..usually cook those things when I plan on feeding a crowd..either in mojo or on grill or what have you..
Don't know how healthy those NY veggie pizzas are..gonna have to pay someone to deliver..that's even if I can make it that long..might be in bed before hubby gets home.. I feel that darn bad..sure would be nice if there were better/healthier variety take out foods available and grocery delivery and if things weren't so expensive...had grocery delivery once here in town sure was nice and excellent services..
