I'm worried about that "bonding with the womens team" comment.
We will just have to wait and see I suppose if what I'm thinking will happen knowing how "those guys" are, ya know...:)

Anyway, I'm extremely happy that Dwight got the Gold. Especially since he plays for the Magic, who have No chance of ever winning the East, never more than 6 playoff games in any one year... or ... EVER winning or Even playing for an NBA Championship.

But it's a great way too make the Big Bucks, meet Dancers, and pretend to be religious. Way to go DH!

So now that he is a bigger man, he can convince the Magic organization and players to put up their own many millions of dollars for the arena and the other civic projects they promissed the people of Orange County and NOT USE tourist tax money that can be better spent in other ways. The Magic can float their own bonds too.

It's your world D-wight. We're just livin in it. You represent Orlando and the USA in fine fashion. Remember, nobody can stop you from being the best. You just have to want it more than anyone else, and work that much harder than everyone. Go Magic!

My congrats also. I have an advice and I hope this reaches you. Stop been a whinner. Pretty soon you will have a perenial all-star center out in the west, Ogden(I think that his name). He can be as dominant as you in a very few years and with that said, competition for USA Team center spot.

The Orlando Magic will play a whopping 41 (or so) games at the new area. The arena is for the city.

Would it be nice to see players dump some money into it ? yes. Is it their responsibility? no. We want big city things but don’t want to pay big city bucks. If you don’t want a basketball team here; don’t go to the games or watch them on tv. If you do want a team here realizes everything that is going to be involved in the process. Most Americans love big cars with big energies, who wants to pay for the gas? The answer is who ever really wants it , does what it takes to have it

I think Bruce “the Boss” is supposed to do a show here (maybe he already has). Point is I bet no one (being a fan of his) will cry, hey why doesn’t he pay something towards the area….sounds ridiculous doesn’t it?

Well anit that America

Howard is still learning, by the time the next USA team is being picked Howard will be 25 or 26 six and in his prime. You are kidding yourself if you think Oden will up root him out of that spot ( the guy will have injury issues his whole career trust me).

Now to make it fair if Amare wants to play...now we have a conversation. Amare is (at this point) much more polished the D12. If D12 get 2 (go to) shots outside the rim its over...let remember to superman is also Iron man. Cant really say that for Oden...

Wait a sec, ok? Dwights ex Magic dancer, ex hooker and well known soon to be "tell all" about Dwight author...

Well she was a dancer in the NBA and I know for a fact that she did more than just "touch" Dwight. The proof is in his child support & alimony payments!

Now that's what I call a "TOUCH!"

Actually it is just suppose to be child support since they were not married. But apparently that extra child support she needed isn't going to their son, but to the new dance studio that she is opening up in Orlando instead.
I wonder what the judge thinks about that.

BTW Chalmers and Arthur were sent home from Rookie Transition Program here is the article.

Former members of the Kansas Jayhaws' NCAA championship team Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat and Darrell Arthur of the Memphis Grizzlies were dismissed from the NBA's Rookie Transition Program on Wednesday morning after being caught in their hotel room at Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, N.Y., with marijuana, according to sources.

"Yes, they were sent home for violating program rules," NBA spokesman Brian McIntyre said.

According to a source, the players were also fined $20,000 each and will begin the season on the suspended list.

There are many businesses in the Orlando area that contribute to local economy and employment but do not get any tax money support for their place of work. I do not watch Magic basketball and do not want any of my tax money going to this business when it can be put to better use in Orange County, FL.

You know for a hometown paper they sure don't write about the Magic enough. Are the Magic gonna make anymore moves. I wanna know. Why are we waiting. Other teams are rounded out. I think we should sign Darrell Armstong as our 3rd point Guard. I know that Brian Cook and Tony Battie Can't be what we have in Mind for power forward. We need another better PF than those two. A Dennis Rodman type Rebounder. Please OS tell us about Otis Smith and get somebody to interveiw and ask him WHYYYY he's not doing anymore to Improve this team!!!!!!!
