The Republican Tea Party Leadership has embraced the teachings and philosophy of the Atheist Author Ayn Rand. To understand the intentions of the Tea Party Leadership and Paul Ryan, take a long hard look at Ayn Rand.
Ayn Rand was born Alisa Rosenbaum to non-practicing Jewish parents in Russia in 1905. Alisa Rosenbaum changed her name to Ayn Rand.
Ayn Rand was educated in a Russian Communist University and emigrated to the United States in 1926.
In American History, the 1920's are called the "Roaring Twenties," because of the boooming economy. Ayn Rand was amazed at the evident wealth and lavish lifesyles of New Yorkers in 1926.
Ayn Rand fell madly in love with Unrestricted Capitalism and the Captains of Industry who made it all possible.
Ayn Rand idolized the industrial and business tycoons of the day.
Newspapers were attacking the tycoons for their lack of regard for their workers, and their greed and selfishness.
Leaping to the defense of her Tycoon Heroes, Ayn Rand wrote books, one of which is the Tea Party's favorite, "Atlas Shrugged," defending the greed and selfishness of her Tycoon Heroes.

Search; Ayn Rand, "The Virtue of Selfishness" video

Ayn Rand's likes and dislikes mirrored those of her Tycoon Heroes, and may have been even more extreme than their views.
Ayn Rand despised Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Medicare, and all other Social safety Net Programs, and Ayn Rand wanted all of them Abolished.
Ayn Rand Despised the Poor and the Working Class, and frequently referred to them as "Parasites."
Ayn Rand Despised Religion and Christianity because it teaches Love and Compassion, attributes that Ayn Rand proudly lacked, and thoroughly detested.

Ayn Rand said, "Social Security and Unemployment Insurance are Hammocks that the people relax in, and these programs encourage laziness and a reluctance to work in the people."

Ayn Rand said, "The Poor and the Working Class are Parasites feeding on the wealth accumulated by their intellectual superiors."

Ayn Rand said, "Christianity is a sign of weakness in a Capitalist Society."

Ayn Rand was interviewed by the CBS News Reporter Mike Wallace on several occasions, and these interviews are available online.

Mike Wallace asked Ayn Rand this question, "If a natural disaster struck America and Millions of people faced starvation, and you had the means, would you feed them?"
The Republican Tea Party Heroine Ayn Rand replied, "NO, I wouldn't feed the poor if they were starving to death."

Search; Ayn Rand - Anton Lavey

Like Paul Ryan and the Tea Party Leadership, Anton Lavey, the Founder of the Church of Satan, and Author of the "Satanic Bible" idolized Ayn Rand, and her books.
At one point Anton Lavey was accused of plagarizing Ayn Rand's writings, which Lavey did not deny.

Anton Lavey said, "Satanism is just Ayn Rand's Philosophy with ceremony and rituals added."

Search; Ayn Rand - William Edward Hickman

Paul Ryan's Heroine idolized William Hickman all during his arrest, trial, conviction, and execution for a brutal crime.
Giddy Ayn Rand wanted to write a book using William Hickman as the heroic character of the story.
William Hickman's claim to fame was that he kidnapped, raped, murdered, and dismembered a 12 year old girl.
Ayn Rand lavished praise on William Hickman for his, "Rugged Individualism, his Unwavering Pursuit of Personal Gratification, and his Total Lack of Regard for the Norms of Society."

David H. Koch was the Libertarian Party Vice-Presidential Candidate in 1980.
Koch advocated the Abolition of Social Security, Medicare, the FBI, the CIA, and Public Schools.
Koch also advocated the Abolition of the EPA, the Dept. of Energy, the FDA, the FCC, Labor Unions, OSHA, the National Labor Relations Board, and Welfare.
No wonder Tea Party Texas Governor Rick Perry couldn't remember which Government Agencies he was supposed to get rid of for the Koch Brothers.
Dang, I couldn't recite all of that on stage either.

I never heard of David Koch but that is of little consequence. I happen to agree that all of the below entities should be abolished or at least severly curtailed, especially Social Security. Start phasing it out right now and in 2-3 generations it will be a thing of the past (which it in fact IS!!)

In short, your stupid copy/paste is falling on deaf ears here. Only a complete imbecile would argue for the continuation of our bloated government and its innumerable agencies.

What a load of HORSE SH*T! So, we are now supposed to know everyone who's read and enjoyed the same books we have, and be held responsible for their beliefs?? Oh crap! I think Charles Manson once read Moby Dick. Does that make me a mass murderer because I read the same book?

Merely reading Ayn Rand's books is one thing.... Going Nuts over the contents and philosophy of Ayn Rand's books is quite another thing.
Paul Ryan went crazy over Ayn Rand and her books.
Paul Ryan said, "I grew up reading Ayn Rand's books."
Paul Ryan said, "Ayn Rand's books led me into politics."
Paul Ryan said, "Ayn Rand had MORE influence over me than ANYONE else in my life."
Paul Ryan said, "More than ever America needs Ayn Rand, I wish she were here today."
Paul Ryan gives copies of Ayn Rand's books to his all of his staff, and tells them to read the books.
Paul Ryan gives copies of Ayn Rand's books to his friends, aquaintances, and family as gifts.

Paul Ryan Publicly praises Ayn Rand's books and philosophy.
I think all of that constitutes FAR More than merely reading a book, and evidently, so do the Catholic Bishops.

Paul Ryan's "New Ideas" and his Ayn Rand Budget Proposal were lifted straight out of the pages of Ayn Rand's books.

Most Seniors, myself included, have paid into Social Security Far More than we will live long enough to get back. So it is not some "Entitlement Program" that is doling out free money to us.
The Congress took Billions of Dollars OUT of Social Security Trust Funds, used that money for other purposes, which they were Never Supposed to do, and put in IOU's.
Now that they have depleted the S.S. Trust Funds, the Congress does not want to pay back the IOU's.
If Congress had left the S.S. Trust Funds alone, we wouldn't be having this conversation, and S.S. would be funded for about 500 years.
Romney and Ryan are promising Seniors that those already retired or about to retire won't be affected by the changes that Romney and Ryan intend to make. Yeah right.
I might have been born at night , but it wasn't last night.
Romney and Ryan intend to Never give Seniors a COLA, and they intend to drastically hike the cost of Medicare Premiums every year, and thereby reduce the total cost of Social Security and Medicare.
Romney and Ryan have NO intention of raising taxes to Pay Back the S.S. IOU's, or to pay down the National Debt.
Romney and Ryan are complaining about a 39% Federal Tax Rate. The Republican President Dwight David Eisenhower set the tax rate on those who make over a million dollars a year at 92%.
Eisenhower used the money to build the Federal Interstate Highway System, the Nuclear Missles & Silos, and old Ike did not leave us in debt up to our eyebrows like Dubya Bush and the Republicans did. Dubya Bush Debt = 11.9 Trillion $

Take the blinders off pal. Obama's administration wasted a TRILLION dollars on so-called stimulus packages. Where did the money go?? You people who forever hang stuff on the previous administration are living in a fantasy world. And no, I'm not going to do your stupid google searches. I've already done my research and I wouldn't vote for Obama if a loaded gun was pointed at my head!

If Paul Ryan is really an atheist, that's one MORE reason to vote for him. What a WONDERFUL thing it would be to get religion completely out of government and stop hearing from the christians all the damn time!!!! As for SS, I wish I was young enough to benefit from the privatization of that ponzi scheme. Unfortunately since I'm 55 I'm stuck with both SS and Medicare. Pssssstttttt Curmudgeon-pay attention-no changes will be made for anyone over 55. Stop whining, your piddly little check will keep on coming. It would likely be a lot bigger if you'd had that money to invest all those years, but you LIKE the nanny state, so COPE.

Then neither does politics have any place in religion. "To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical." -- Thomas Jefferson

Most Republicans are anti-choice. Quite honestly, I don't see abortion or gay marriage as key issues in this election. I want people who can fix the economy. I know BHO is not the guy, he's the one that broke it. And given his misuse of executive privilege, I fear what kind of craziness he might get up to when he doesn't have re-election to think about. I am firmly a supporter of Romney/Ryan for those reasons.

Abortion and gay marriage should not be legislative issues of any kind. They are both personal decisions and the ONLY reason to make laws about them are to inject religion into people's personal lives. Don't believe in abortion? Don't have one. Don't believe in same-sex marriage? Don't marry someone of the same sex. Both of these issues are quite simple to solve. Just mind your own business.

Except for abortion is not a matter of "belief". It is no different than murder and should be treated as such. And don't bother parroting your liberal treatise about "masses of tissue", etc. You've had training in the medical arts and you know damn well an unborn child is living and growing. Religion has nothing to do with it.

Yes I have had training and I know that a fetus is nothing more than a parasitic organism and as long as it lives in a woman's body it is hers to do with as she pleases. I AM liberal on this issue despite basically being a conservative because I AM A WOMAN. I never had to make the decision whether or not to terminate a pregnancy. All three of my children were planned and wanted. However, I have a young daughter. Should she need to make that decision at some point, I absolutely want SAFE, LEGAL avenues open to her. And here's some news for you, my friend. Long before it was legal to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, women did it. If a woman TRULY does not want to carry a pregnancy to term, she won't. The difference? She may well die trying to end something that is, for whatever reason, unbearable to her. Yes, it is about religion. It is about forcing YOUR beliefs on other people. No one is forced to terminate a pregnancy. We allow 13 year olds, welfare lowlife who already have 8 kids, and women who are much too old to deal with a newborn to have kids if they want to. We then end up supporting those kids for their whole lives in many cases. Bottom line......MY BODY, MY CHOICE. No one will EVER convince me that this should be a legislated issue. Just mind your own business.
