I wonder who should be charged? Not the 84 year old man.

It is truly a shame that this violent drunk is getting a pass on being charged just because his money-grubbing son and ambulance chaser NeJame are filing suit. I hope the old lush at least dries out while he's in the hospital or at least keeps his drunken binges at home.

What a mean cranky bitch you are! Mr. Daley is most likely going to die from this. All because a short tempered cop lost his cool and body-slammed him to the pavement. Couldn't just maintain a safe distance and keep an eye on the old chap until backup arrived. No, your cop buddy had to break an 84-year-old man's neck; a wholly indefensible act. What a tough cop! I bet he feels like a big man for doing that.

Now... stop your damn trolling and go find something else to do.

You're confused. It happened because a drunken old fool tried to get violent with a cop. If he dies, too bad. One less drunken idiot in the world.

Now...get a life and don't ever think that the likes of you can tell me what to do. Oh, and I don't know the cop at all, wouldn't know him if I fell over him. I do however support those who enforce the law rather than those who break it, and the age of the lawbreaker is absolutely irrelevant.

If he dies Orlando will most likely pay out a huge fortune to the survivors like they did in Atlanta to the surviviors of Kathryn Johnston, a 94 year old black woman who was shot during a botched drug raid. Those 3 cops are now serving time. In addition they lied to a judge and planted evidence.
Our tax dollars at work.

Doubtful. This case is not a case of mistaken identity, nor is there any planted evidence. A drunk got stupid and got hurt as a result. His age has NO relevance. His son and that sickening ambulance chaser NeJame just think they're going to get rich. I'd guess they get nothing, and I'll applaud when that happens.

The Police Department hired Lamont in December 2008. Since then, the agency's internal-affairs division has investigated the officer three times.

Records show he damaged his patrol car twice and received reprimands. He also wrongly arrested a man on a simple-battery charge and had to ask a judge to release that man from jail. He received a written reprimand in that incident.

This cop was a criminal before he broke this 84 year old mans neck??? Why was he not fired??
