Hey, Tribe, why did they delete ths thread? Well, we best not mention you-know-who again.

We got a really nice rain, finally. About 3 hours after I watered the plants. Not complaining!!!

Good morning Spooky~~
I can't believe Topix pulled the other thread.
I guess it just goes to show they don't want peaceful, decent
posting. There wasn't a thing wrong with what was being discussed
there, until...you know.
I've seen this happen before, then out of the blue the original
thread shows back up, after it has been revued and "cleaned."

I was really surprised, especially since there is so much bickering on the states thread and it's still here. I guess talking about books, cooking and gardening isn't allowed. Lil.

In all fairness, they've got their hands full trying to keep up with Ron's prolific filthy racist posts. Wouldn't want their job!

I'm not sure I'd want to do their job. I'd be too busy laughing at the stupidity of half the posters on Topix.

When it starts it's BS on threads we like, it's better to ignore it instead of reporting it because they've pulled almost on threads where his posts have been reported. Enough of that jerk!!!

Excellent advice and I agree~~
There were many good post about books that I wanted to refer back to.
Good threads are few and far between on Orlando...
Anyway, any plans for this long week-end?

Nothing is better for our gardens than a nice rain.
I assume Florida is on a year 'round water restriction.

We seem to be in the county I live in. It's hard to keep the grass from dying in this heat when we can only, water once a week.

Please, during this holiday weekend, take a moment to say thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can all enjoy things like 3-day weekends. To all those who have served or are currently serving, thank you. And if you're currently serving, stay safe.

When we moved from Florida, our water bills were outrages and
the water was undrinkable.
The water we have in Georgia is wonderful, coming from a spring fed
mountain lake. The coffee and tea is delicious.

Thanks for the nice reminder, TOS~~
Today, I've thought about the true meaning of Memorial Day,
I share your sentiments...
Thanks too, to the families that keep the home fires burning while
thier loved one is away.

Today was a very gross hot day here, felt like July.

I made the mistake of getting some plants today at Lowes and we don't have any rain coming until Monday.
:(

I should have waited but i cannot resist it when they mark plants down.

Loews is the only one that has great plants and markdowns. We got a lot of rain last evening. It was a pleasant surprise. Wasn't in the forecast.

I didn't realize they pulled the other thread. That is strange. We were all posting pretty peaceful with each other I thought. No name calling, etc.

Oh well, so much for what I think.
