Your big arrogant mouth has written a check you now don't want to cash. Somebody needs to show this guy he's not the diety he thinks he is.

I'm leaning toward Kolodziej, and his efforts certainly are not "extortion" nor "mail fraud", weak. Grandstanding may cost you this time Mason.

Maybe Cheney has been outsmarted and doesn't want to admit it. Personally I'd like to see him pay the million!!!!!

So how does Cheney explain his client's fingerprint on a parking ticket at OIA if he allegedly was in Atlanta as he claims? He should have checked the evidence against his client before he shot off his mouth. I hope he has to pay the million plus interest and court fees!

Diety? What, is he trying to lose weight? It is "deity."

By all accounts, Cheney Mason is one of the good guys in the legal profession. This guy looking for a pay out is the joke.

He got on TV and said he would pay 1 mill for someone to disprove him basically. Running his mouth trying to be a big shot, why wouldn't someone take him seriously. He should have to pay ASAP. So when someone goes on TV and says theres...say $25,000.00 to find a missing person...they aren't bound to it??

What we have here is nothing more than a big game of liars poker with a different twist. It features one liar(lawyer) against another liar(lawyer) to be decided by another liar(judge, a glorified lawyer). Only way Cheney Mason gets out of this mess is to pay someone something. Either he buys the judge a new car or settles this with the kid for less than the original million. Either way you spin it, a liar will win.

Well I guess this just shows there are certain things you should not say on public TV. He was proven wrong and its time to get out the check book.

This one will eventually be chalked up to "a figure of speech" defense.

I'd like my consultation fee, please........

The guy spent his money to prove the killers trail and time frame for murder. Pay the bet lawyer or forever be tainted by the title welcher too.

There are several reasons why this lawsuit it bogus and will go nowhere. First, his client has already been convicted, so the prosecution already "showed" the jury how he could have accomplished the murders in the amount of time. Anything after that is redundant. Second, the offer is too vague. There are no specifics to it. Third, it's just hyperbole. No judge or jury is going to make this lawyer pay a dime.

I bet you a billion Zimbabwean dollars (= to 1 US dollar) that Mr. Mason ends up settling this for at least a low 6 figure amount. The challenger that did the daring deed should go on Dateline and show his proof. Mr Mason, you are a wise man, and should have realized the ramifications of your spoken words. In spite of all of this, he is still the guy I would want to hire if I needed an attorney. I will likely call you the minute I shoot our neighborhood burglar.

Just goes to show you that you should take anything Cheney Mason says with a grain of salt. When applied to facts, it usually doesn't stand up.
