What's up with all these stars having near death experiences, first it was shia lebouef, then bernie mac, now morgan freeman. It's just weird to me that all this stuff is happening consecutively

According to another news source, there were crowds of people rushing to the scene trying to get a glimpse of him as they were cutting him out of the vehicles with the jaws of life. One guy tried to take pictures with his cell phone.

It was also said that Freeman was joking with people as he was being extricated.

People never cease to amaze me. That even in a person's darkest hour, they would gawk and take pictures.

This article's introductory paragraph is just awful:

"Morgan Freeman, who developed Batman's car in " The Dark Knight," has been in an accident involving his own vehicle."

First of all, it was Morgan Freeman's character in Batman that deveoped the car, not Morgan Freeman himself. Second, is this really what Morgan Freeman is known for? Do these reporter's even go to journalism school anymore?

Guess what, boys and girls? He was wearing his seatbelt as was his passenger! Imagine that, he will survive the roll-over crash.

At least there is a little intelligence left in this country. Morgan for one has his share. Bravo and best wishes for a quick recovery.

It is called "segueing" into a story. Let' s all hope he comes out of this well. Why worry about who wrote the story or how and I'm sure he didn't care if pictures were taken. He's a celebrity, if no one was interested that is when he would have cared. God Bless you Morgan, get better.

Well, hopefully, since he was fully conscious and joking around with everyone, that's a sign he isn't hurt too badly and will continue to make more great movies!!

I believe the writer was referencing a possible "Dark Knight" curse, like Olando pointed out....

Our daughter hit black ice once and her truck rolled over several times -- she crawled out scratched and shaken but alive because of her seat belt.

I know a lot of people don't like them, but, in some cases -- especially rollovers -- they save lives!
