To everyone that was so kind and concerned this morning...I'm okay.
The doctor gave me medication that made me moonwalk out of his office...I hope I did not embarrass Curlie, too much.
My doctor made me stay for a couple of hours in his office until he was sure my BP was going to stay put where he wanted it.
When he mentioned sending me to the hospital he also said he thought I would be a bad patient. lol
I barely remember the ride home, Curlie said I ate a Checker Burger? I have slept most of the afternoon.
Again, thanks friends.
Hi Ruby, wanted to say I'm glad to hear you went to the doctor...hope you are feeling better soon....BP is nothing to mess with. Hope you have a good weekend, not sure how much I will be posting this weekend, very discouraged anymore.

Is Carl Jr.'s a franchise? I like Checkers better than any of the other fast-food joints. Prices are very reasonable. I don't know what happened to Mickey D's...
Carl Jr.'s is the same company that did the car wash commercial with Paris Hilton, and they are also running one with Padma Lakshmi from the Top Chef show.

The advertisements walk that thin line between a commercial, and food porn... LOL

My greatest food fantasy (besides eating a grassfed, Prime Angus steak at Donatello and David Burke's restaurant in NYC) is to have an "In and Out" burger in LA.

Those burgers are supposed to be the "Holy Grail" of Beef patties! I hope there is someone from California who can verify their juicy, cholesterol laden goodness!

Thanks Ruby - but just the other day I posted to you and Sergi and turned my computer off mins. later and then I came back on later that night to chat and saw that someone had came in right behind me and posted as me again....I don't want you all to think I'm posting any other way than I am now...REGISTERED...please just know that if anyone posts as me and you don't see my registered name, it's not me. I just don't understand these childish games. When I first started posting I really needed an outlet to talk, it helped to get my mind off things and god knows we all need that. I am stressed to the max with family stuff and always looked forward to chatting with you all when time permitted for me, which is very little. Hoping that things will get better and everyone has learned a lesson here. Whether we know each other or not in real life it's sure nice to have someone to talk to, you know.

I just would like to see us all get along and show some respect.

No problem...I think you have been vindicated after what happened. Let's all try and move forward. DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE JUDGE-IT BUTTONS!!! They're bogus. See you later, I'm going to call it an early night. See you tomorrow?

I understand, I souldn't complain, I'm very lucky not to be in that situation. I have a son only 26 that is now disabled from a car wreck and my sister 56 who has cancer. It's so hard to keep an upbeat attitude at times. My son is so depressed but I keep trying to encourage him to find something to get interested in and I would support him if he would just try harder. Sissy is another story, just don't know what her outcome will be, third time return for cancer and upcoming surgery. She has 4 more chemo treatments and she is so sick, breaks my heart that she is going thru this again.

Sorry to learn about your son and sister..I know you mentioned it a few days ago when there were problems going on and I thought you were a troll..Its hard for your son being so young to be disabled and I understand the depression part..its hard to accept when you learn you will never work again..been there..I guess I should ask if this disability is lifelong or sudden..its OK if you don't feel comfortable talking about it..

Your sister has been thru alot I see..I hope for a good outcome..

Me? You think that I "MIGHT" curse on occasion???

Oh, hon... I don't curse... I conjugate.

Did you forget that I used to work as a Stand Up comic? I learned to curse at the feet of the Masters: Bill HIcks, Paul Mooney, and Andrew Dice Clay.

I have tried to reduce the cursing over the years... particularly when I was doing TV and Radio... but now that I have lived out on the farm for the last FIVE years...(holy crap... it has been FIVE years.... argh!), I have picked up the 'rouge-naped" habit of starting my stories with "You ain't gonna believe this s***, but...".

I am HORRIFIED at that... and find it harder to maintain 'that big time radio voice, and middle American accent' that I worked so hard to develop, when the only folks I get to talk to (for days at a time) are the hubby and his father, and the postal lady.

I am afraid that the long distance from the big city is diminishing my verbal communication skills to a cross between Larry the Cable Guy, and Minnie Pearl. And I really, really hate that.

Now I have to gather up the chickens, and their babies... and tuck them in for the night. I need to plan a reduced cooking meal... as it is still 96 degrees in the kitchen. That really encourages one to nuke something frozen!

You have a good night, Miss Ruby.

No, it's okay..I have nothing to hide. I have twin boys that were involved in a auto accident due to a DUI, their fault, they hit a concrete wall head on. Both were hurt pretty bad, the worse call of my life from the trauma unit. One son was hurt way worse than the other. He broke everything on his right side and has numerous surgeries. He has a hard time standing for and period of time and is constant pain. The worse part now is the addiction to pain meds which they are both addicted to because they have been on them for so long. At times their attitudes are so bad I can't hardly stand being around them...it's back and forth constantly. They both have recently had to move back in with me because I was just unable to continue to help them financially and being here cost less. No jobs and it's not looking good anytime soon. They both are use to manual labor and since the accident it was just too hard to keep up and they were let go. My son Jason is going thru disability right now to see if he can possibly be trained for a sit down job so that's in the works but it will only be part time. Jared has a hard time with his vision and hand, had his eyelid torn off and his hand crushed so he is having to start over too... Trust me a nightmare come true. I just have to continue to encourage them and hoepfully one day they will be off pain meds, it has nearly destroyed our family.

This used to be a fun thread, it has now turned depressing.
