The problem with Judges is that they are lawyers. Lawyers are not fit to pass judgement. That is the same problem with congress, to many lawyers unfit to govern.

He is a ticket lawyer, not a real lawyer. Wennet is a prick, but a good judge. If you are guilty then he wants you in jail.

wennet is a pompous, arrogant jerk. everyone should read the book written by the woman he put in jail because she caught him on tape talking about women's boobs at a topless beach. the book is titled: "Power and corruption in PBC". Duh. by julie domotor. i do not know her but i have read the book. wennet hopes not many people read the book. anyone vwho reads it would NEVER vote for wennet.

what wennet did to this woman- his ex girlfriend- by abusing his office as a judge- is shameful if not illegal.

wennet is a bad person and a bad judge.

Don't know Small, but she's endorsed by the National Organization of Women? This group has a very radical agenda. If you're not a fire-breathing lesbian, or someone who decided to abort a baby after it cried momma, they have no use for you.

Yeah, this article never mentioned that "episode" at Peanut Island.

Vote OUT Wennet. Time for him to go!

Time for all the judges to be kicked out of office.

Vote NO to retain judges.

Just remember when judges retire they get 100% percentage of the salary as retirement.

Time to change this statue. Get those judges out!

Rather give cops (whose lives are at risk everyday100% of their salary than those lawyers/judges who have the safety of their courtrooms!

Now, why should judges get 100% of their salary? No reason, other than that is what they wanted.

Time for the public to shake free from those leaches. Stop the robbery. Stop juedge from getting 100% of their salary upon retirement.

They are not deserving of that perk.

Vote NO retain any judge.

Vote OUT Wennet...a real creepy sounding guy.

Vote OUT Lewis...sad when fellow lawyers say she is unfair. Time for her to go.

I hope someone will step up and run against Judge Martin Colin in Palm Beach. Colin needs to go. Hopefully he will be removed and indicted.... Get the 4th DCA decision on BAEZ and read the KASMAN case. Conflict after conflict with Weiss & Handler who reps Colin's wife Savitt. Also the Gordon matter.

It's about time these judges have challengers. They will now know they need to do a better job, or give up their lucritive positions.

You have left out part of the story, creating a serious misrepresentation. The complaint Abramson filed with the Judicial Qualification Committee about Wennet was filed PRIOR to Wennet filing a bar complaint against Abramson. Your story creates the appearance of retaliatory behavior by Abramson, when it was Wennet who was taking retaliatory action towards Abramson by filing a bar complaint against him. Classic case of C-Y-A and everyone at the courthouse and in the legal community knows it.

LEO, you sound like a L-aw E-nforcement O-fficer who was embarrassed by Abramson in court for being unprepared or doing a bad job ... Everyone knows he is one of the sharpest attorneys in town and the very cops he faces in court every day regularly refer friends and family to him for help. That speaks volumes about the kind of lawyer he is. Sorry you had a bad experience, hope you are a better cop for the it, though. No disrespect to police officers intended.

Wennet is just a good example of abusing power. His last relationship with Julie only goes to prove what type of person he really is. And he is supposed to be a judge?! If you abuse women or cheat - vote Wennet, otherwise vote for anyone else!!!!

Go to google and type in "judge richard wennet domotor" for the truth! Palm Beach County citizens ought to learn what kind of oinker is sitting on a court room bench judging others!!!! The only thing he is qualified to judge is a wet t-shirt contest !!!

Every year it's the same story .... the judges at the bottom of the annual poll claims not enough lawyers take part for the poll to be valid. The truth is only those lawyers with enough appearances in front of a particular judge get to rate that judge, so of course all 5,700 lawyers don't get to evaluate each judge. Maybe only 100 - 150 lawyers appear in front of Wennet a year and get to rate him, so having 89 of them evaluate him is totally fair. And they seems to think he is unprofessional and doesn't know what he is doing. Thirty-one reversals in one year must be some kind of record. Compared to other judges, that is an astronomical figure. And don't let him kid you - having a case remanded is being reversed, and costs the taxpayers money and means he messed up.

I have seen Abramson is action and I can assure you he is the absolute worst choice for a judge. He has been thrown out of most courts rooms for his behaviour. He is hated by most who know him and makes his living as a ticket lawyer.

This stuff about "ticket lawyer" is nonsense. I believe it is coming from some very embarrassed police officers who had to face Bill Abramson in court, and are terrified of how tough he'll be on them as a judge. Who else would only know him as a "ticket attorney?" Only the cops who have to go against him in traffic court, that's who. Still, who do they call when they need help? You guessed it, Bill Abramson. He represents people on all kinds of very serious charges and he is the closest thing this town has to Atticus Finch, a brave man willing to fight all the way to the end for the principle. If he has some people who don't like him, it's because he whipped 'em!!!! We at the court house love him and can't wait to see him elected.

I used to live near the intercoastal and one of the things I am glad to be away from is Judge Wennet jogging up and down Flagler in these awful little speedo-type shorts, shirtless. He used to actually stop and hit on women right in the open, on the street. One time a neighbor of mine had to go into her house to get away from him, he was so persistent. That man has no class and no respect for women and should not be a judge, in my opinion.

I would say vote them all out of office. So many of our judges are tied in the pockets of various attorneys around town. We will see the day when the judges themselves be in front of another judge for various criminal activity.

You know what they say when you want to take over a country?

Take all the lawyers and politicians out into the street, and shoot them down like dogs.

All your problems will be solved then.
