Good morning, Allbodies. I wish you a very happy Saturday.

Liz--Is it Saturday yet?
Jean--Is today Saturday?

I just know Saturday has to be in this week some time.

It is a pretty day here and I have a lot of stuff that needs doing outside. If my hands cooperate, I want to water all the potted plants, the newly planted Petunias and Vinca and finish cutting back the Butterfly Bush. I need to pull weeds from around Murphy's grave and fill the pond and feed Moby. Hands. Lord, today I ask for Hands.

Ok. I have worked myself to death. Every part of my body hurts. My eye lashes hurt. Let's move on to Sunday now.

Heehee--yesterday my daughter was here and she swept up a bunch of dog hair, even though my helper was here Thursday. She and my DIL were just here for coffee. She swept up dog hair again (Megyn gets brushed every day). She said, "Where are your vacuum attachments?" I told her they were either where my friend who helped me put them or where my newer friend who helps me put them. When she left, she said, "Come on, Megyn." I asked if she was stealing my dog. She said she was going to vacuum her with her vacuum attachment.

Good Morning All

Murph how did Megyn like getting vacuumed?

Yesterday was Jerrod's graduation. Boy, it was a long day. We left at 5 am and didn't get home until about 7pm. We stopped at the casino on the way back for about 30 minutes. Zach won over 200.00.

Good morning, Allbodies. I hope you have a great day.

Liz--Megyn Does Not Like being vacuumed. Even though Gina took her out in the yard and pulled a ton of loose hair off of her, then vacuumed her, I took her outside yesterday afternoon and filled the brush 4 times with soft, downy undercoat. I left it outside for the birds to use in their nests. One time I read in Birds and Blooms about a woman who brushed her cat outside, then cleaned the brush and left it outside. She watched the birds taking the fur. One day she brushed the cat then went inside for a minute. The birds couldn't wait for her to clean the brush--they were picking the hair out of the brush.

My younger daughter stopped by to show me a cell phone picture of my grand daughter. If she hadn't told me it was my grand daughter, I would not have recognized her. Her face is extremely swollen and her eyes are just tiny slits. She has about 50 big red dots Just On Her Face. We assume it is Poison Ivy.
Here's the bad part: It is finals week so she Had to go to school. Daughter had taken off work and was picking her up at school for a 9:30 doctor appointment, then she will have to back to school.

That's cool about the birds using animal hair to make their nests. I never thought about that before.

Did you find out what the doctor said yet about GD?

I also read that birds would appreciate little bits of yarn, to use in their nests. I had some pink yarn that I cut into 4 or 5" lengths and put out for them. The birds never touched the yarn and every time I would go outside and see one, I would go into a Watusi dance, thinking they were night crawlers (which I detest more than snakes).

I haven't heard yet what the doctor said.

Wedding glitch looming--If GS's team should win their next two games, GS would have to be in Salina, KS (about 5 hours away) for Regionals on the day of the wedding. He is the best man.

Whenever I clean the hair out of our brushes I always toss the hair into the yard. Hair makes a better nest than most other things. Keeps them warm in the winter, is rainproof and has several other benefits.

Good morning, Zazz and Allbodies. I hope your day is lovely.

Last night the whole family attended my youngest GS's 8th grade promotion. Parking was awful. I was with oldest daughter. She wanted to drop me off in front of the school and find a parking place. I insisted I could walk. After we had gone a block and a half, we saw oldest son and DIL and my daughter let me out to walk with them. She asked how far away they were parked and they said, "About a quarter of a mile." The school was packed.
While they were showing photos of the kids on the big screen, they were playing an old Miley Cyrus song. I told them it made me want to get on stage and start twerking. They all said, "Dare you!"

Hi Murph. Yep, it's the season. Graduations, promotions, recitals and lots of walking from the parking lot.

Shame on you for not letting her drop you off at front door. You should not overdo it. ave that energy for the after parties and twerking. LOL.

Good morning, Allbodies. I wish you a lovely day and a great weekend.

We got a tiny bit of rain during the night and the birds are extremely happy this morning, just singing their little hearts out.

Yesterday morning, I had classmates visit. I had not seen them for 55 years. I had dreaded it and fretted over it for months and it was wonderful. We talked and talked and talked.
Liz--I am glad I decided that whatever will be will be. It was great.

You are so right! The birds love it!
Years ago, when I had a horse, I noticed the birds getting after the long mane and tail hairs that I cleaned out of his brushes.I

When I worked at a nursing home I met a little lady that cleaned her hairbrush every morning and put the hair on her windowsill so she could watch the birds come to pick it up.
