I have a good idea. I think Allbodies should come to my house today.
Allbodies! Bring big, sharp, mean-looking tools. We will have a nice springtime work party and I will order pizza.(I've got coupons!)
Cajun Queen--we will let you rest periodically. Every two or three hours.
Oh, when I think of the things that need done out there, I really feel overwhelmed. The bed the *(&^*$^# Honeysuckle is trying to take over is over 50 feet long. It has 2 Forsythia, a Redbud tree, Day Lilies, a Lilac, two rose bushes, and probably 300 Iris.--And a Truckload off (*&%^$^#* Honeysuckle trying to take over all of it. It really makes me sick. I have put hundreds of hours of work into that bed over the years
Honeysuckle will wind right up a stalk of Iris and right around the flower. Wraps around the rose bushes. I swear it can grow a foot overnight..
I'm sure Queen will appreciate your generous rest breaks! GEEZ!
I know what you mean, I fight a battle with wisteria that wants to take over everything within a 100 foot radius of the original plant.
What a mess pulling those runners up!

Sounds preferable to sitting here with cold feet waiting for the snow to melt.
I got all that stuff in the trunk of my car.
Throw in some Tard old lady fudge and you got yourself a deal!
I am so glad you have a new good buddy. Labs make good friends.
51 years? I'm glad you had company to share your memories.
Bear and I are coming up on 43 years.
You got it. I'll get a big pan of tard ol' lady fudge ready.
Darn--I had just eaten a tv breakfast when oldest son called and said, "Are you about ready for some lunch?" Shoot!! He came over anyway and visited for a while. He has an appointment with a back surgeon on the ninth. He really doesn't want to take the shots. They work for years for some people and not at all for others.
My cousin's experience--the first shot worked for 3 months. The second shot did nothing. The third shot worked for 5 years. Last fall she started taking them again. The first one did nothing. The second one gave her tremendous relief for about 3 months. Now, she says her back hurts worse than it ever has before. They didn't do anything for me.

Good Mornin Sunshine!

Sunshine IS a friend of mine.! I was so glad to see him this morning.

I hope your son has success with finding the right solution for his back pain. Does he also have R.A. problems?

Most of the snow melted yesterday. And GLORY BE,..... It is supposed to get up to 60 today.
Too bad I need to take care of typical Monday stuff....change sheets, do laundry...run sweeper....dust....yadayada... ....sigh
8 year old grandson was visiting me yesterday. He had asked me where the game of Racko was, and about two other questions at the same time. So I was trying to think where that game might be, while I was answering another of his questions. I guess that process slowed my voice down. Because he tilted his head to one side and asked, "Why are you talking in slow motion?"
OH MY! Tickled my funny bone!

Good morning, Marley and Allbodies. May your day be lovely.

I'm glad you are seeing the sun this morning, Marley. No, my son did something to his back weeks ago and let it go for a long time before he went to the doctor.

We have cloudy sky and wind this morning. I have to be at the heart specialist at 11:20 for a routine 6 month check-up, then hope to stop in at the library and Country Mart. My life is filled with excitement.

Has anyone else read about the outbreak of Ebola virus in Zaire, and Guinea? They say 70 have died, and they are closing a couple of borders?
That is very scary.

Did they shut you in the library?

I think ole Jeanie Bean got locked in the outhose.

Maggie where to heck are you? How is the weather in your neck of the north?

Snarky! Have you started planting your pool garden? The young Mr. Snarky must have gotten too famous for you to talk to us riff raff, huh? Seriously tho, how is the family?

Beatnick! I know what happened to you.........You got lost in an avalanche of wallpaper remnants when you opened the closet door to your shelf liner stash!
chuckle

Good morning, Marley and Allbodies. I wish you a wonderful day.

You can pick on me now, Marley. I am up. I think this is going to be one of those mornings when I am up, back in bed, then up again.

We are supposed to have another beautiful day today, then rain tomorrow and Thursday.

Good morning, Allbodies. May your day be just what you hope it will be.

Yesterday I did Nothing, which means I have a ton of stuff to do today, including a trip to Country Mart and the Dollar Store. I should get a prize for most exciting life..

What do all y'all have planned for today?

Don't know when I'll get started on picking up all the sticks and limbs in the yard. My mower cart has a flat tire,....gotta get a new one and get that cart fixed!!!
Well, I'm off to see the first of the school programs. Should be fun!
Have a good day everyone.

Amen and Good Afternoon

This week has been crazy.
Can we all please prayer my nephew Jerrod. He had a seizure this morning but is okay now. He sees a specialist next week. This is especially scary since one of his former teammates had a sudden seizure last year and died from it. He was only 21.

Can we also please pray for my friend Dave's wife. She's been ill for awhile now and needs a bone marrow transplant. A couple weeks ago they found out she also has Leukemia that she needs to be treated for before she can have the transplant.

Murph some of it sounds like what your ya-ya's are going thru. She's in a semi isolated , sterile room but in the hospital. He refers to it as a "vented room" and she'll be there a month ( also no immune system), but she can have *cleared visitors* at certain times.

Praying now for Jarrod and your friend's wife. Dave's wife's case sure does sound like one of my ya-yas. I will ask my family to pray, also.

Good Morning All

I'll call Jerrod this morning to check on how he's doing. I sure wish he was closer to home and not 3 hours away.

Murph do you have anymore updates on the Ya-Ya's? My friend said that when his wife gets out of the hospital she can't be around the sun, plants or any soil. I'm guessing that means grass too, so it sounds like she's going to be stuck inside for awhile. He said she's been ill for almost a year. I forgot the name of what he said she has but I googled it and it means scarring of the bone marrow. She needs a transplant and luckily her sister is a close enough match, however then they discovered she has leukemia and have to treat that before addressing the bone marrow issue.
