I just got good news. My GS just left the specialist in Wichita and he did not mention rotator cuff one time! He has a new set of therapy exercises to do and he told him he will never again be able to lower the bar in bench pressing more thaaan 90 degrees.(Who Needs To!!)

Yesterday, on their way to the motel, they saw a woman biker get hit. She didn't move and they were scared to death that she had been killed. By the time the EMS people arrived, she was able to tell them her husband's name and phone number.

That's great new about your Grandson.
Did your daughter mention she thought the movie was creepy? There was a series of books about the family. I read a couple of the different books synopsis online this morning. One story is creepier than the next.

Wow what a huge change in temps you had. We've just pretty much had steady cold here, only tonight and tomorrow is even suppose to be colder with wind chills down to -15.

Liz, I remember reading the book a long time ago, but I didn't see the movie. My daughter was telling me about a week ago that she had just seen it again.
It is 15 degrees here. Yesterday it got up to 62.

Well we had a little last week but we got big flakes today. It is beautiful, need a few more prayers, another surgery on knee again on a couple of weeks. I have cooked a little which I totally enjoyed, dr. said no driving for no telling how long, she suggested I turn drivers license on and save on car insurance. Don't know what the hell to think of that. Got a big pot of soup going, y'all stay cuddled up ,

You are always in my prayers. Are they going to fix the screw that is hanging out?
What kind of soup are you making?

Good morning, Allbodies. I hope your day is lovely.
It is supposed to get to 40 degrees today. Right now it is 26. Last night my son brought in a lot of wood, God bless him. On cold days, I really go through a Lot of wood.

My Ya-ya''s mom passed away. Ya-ya is still at KU Med Center and will be for weeks. The other ya-yas are going to be with her the day of her mom's funeral. Her daughter is with her now. And here I sit, totally worthless.

The new carpet was installed yesterday. I figured they would do one room at a time so I could start putting things back together in the finish rooms. Instead they do them all at the same time. Looks nice but took about 5 hours.
I changed my bedroom around but not everything fits now so I'm going to have to change it back. I like the change but I have the side of the bed against a wall and it kind of looks sloppy when I made it because it's difficult to tuck the comforter in.

Good morning, Liz and Allbodies. I hope you have a wonderful day.

My daughter was sick by the time they got home from Wichita. The strain of flu she had involved bone pain, headache, and chills. Tuesday evening, their heat went out and it was Really cold in their house. They have to put a new motor in whatever it was that went wrong and the motor won't come until (maybe) sometime today. Last night, she and GS spent the night here.

When I woke up, there was such a sense of comfort--I guess I had never realized how comforting it is to wake up knowing someone else is in the house. It didn't last long because they were leaving as I was getting up.

Murph I hope your daughter's furnace is fixed and she's feeling better. What a awful time to have heat problems, being sick and in the middle of winter with a arctic blast.
Did you daughter ever take Airbounre supplements? My doctor suggested them a couple years ago when I had the flu. They seemed to really help with making me feel better when I have a cold or the flu.

Do you have any Superbowl plans? I was going to look around the net for some recipe ideas for the kids if they're going to be here for the game. They're not sure yet.

Jerrod came home yesterday and my sister bought him a new (used) truck. He picked out a Dodge Ram, similar to the ones his Dad always had.

Good morning, Allbodies. I hope you have a really good day.

Thank you, Liz. She's better and the furnace is fixed. I felt so bad for her.
That is sweet that Jerrod chose a truck like his dad always drove.

Last night, after I had gone to bed, second oldest GS came. He had just gotten out of two back-to-back 3 hour classes and wanted to use my computer to do his homework while everything was still fresh on his mind.
Then we sat and visited until midnight!
I didn't wake up until 10 AM and that was when I was supposed to be at the chiro, getting acupuncture. I called her and she was very nice about it, and re-scheduled for Tuesday.

Good morning, Liz and Allbodies. I hope you have a lovely, relaxing Saturday.
Liz--Is today Saturday?

The streets and sidewalks are solid ice this morning. My weekend plans are usually just having people stop by for coffee. I doubt that anyone will get out on this ice. I sure hope no one will; it looks really treacherous.

Several in my family have horrible flu-like illness. The ones who were tested for flu were negative. WhatEver they call it, it is some Mean stuff.
So far, Landyn is the only one who tested positive for flu, and he'd had his flu shot and flu-booster shot. He felt much better within 24 hours of being on medicine. This other stuff involves achy bones, bad headache, sore throat, chills and coughing.

Wow. I just got the mother of all Nigerian scam letters. It looks very official using Bank of America Corporate Office, address, names of officials, etc.
The gig is: My account is going to be turned over, in full, to the United States Treasury within 24 hours, unless I pay this penalty. The penalty is usually $2,500.00, but, if I take care of the problem within 24 hours, the penalty will only be $150.00. Once I click on the link to get the address of where to send the money order, my account will again be open to me and I can begin withdrawing my funds at once.

The amount of money in my account? Fifteen Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars!!!!

Ain't it just Kewl how my nickels and dimes add up!!!!!!!!

Did you know...

... that today is Times Crossword Puzzle Day? On this day in 1930, The Times published its first crossword puzzle. Trivia buffs: A journalist named Arthur Wynne from Liverpool is usually credited as the inventor of the popular word game.

The sad thing is that they still find people foolish enough to fall for this. Sad.
