Good morning, Allbodies. I hope your day is a great one. Looks like it will be a beautiful day here.

Liz, he said the tumor was too unpredictable to remove. When he removed it before, another, more aggressive one came. He said he would be risking an even more aggressive one growing if he removed this one. He said when the pain got to be more than I can bear, he would remove it and fuse the joints to make sure another one didn't grow. Ha! When the pain gets more than I can bear, I will take up drinking.

Not long ago, we had 3 doctors who took early retirement. Some sent out letters telling people to contact them and tell them where they would like their records sent. One didn't tell anyone he was leaving. The pain doctor who was poking those long needles in my back had his last day here yesterday.
He is moving, not retiring, and he did send out letters.

PS I think my favorite doctor is the one I wrote about a while back. He decided he was there to help sick people, not to fill out endless government and insurance forms. Now he takes no Medicaid, no Medicare, no private insurance. It is a flat $48.00 for an office visit and he only schedules 2 people each hour so he can Listen to what they are telling him. Oh, I just Love that concept!!

He is the one that wrote the book "House Calls".
He Still makes house calls!!!

Have you heard anymore from Pam? Hope she's doing better.
It cooled way down here today. Only suppose to be in the low 70's. It's a refreshing change.<quoted text>
Oh, that would be a refreshing change.

Pam is a little better, thank you. She will finish one of her prescriptions today and she thinks that is the one that is making her fuzzy-headed.
She grows all kinds of herbs and goes out in the early morning when the flavor is at its peak, and cuts them and hangs them to dry. All year she collects pretty glass apothecary bottles, and bottles the herbs. She makes beautiful Christmas gift boxes for friends and relatives. She is really frustrated right now because she can't get out and cut the herbs.

July 30 is House of Burgesses Day? In 1619, the House of Burgesses met at the Jamestown church as the first elected legislative assembly in the New World. The House was established by the Virginia Company, who created the body as part of an effort to encourage English craftsmen to settle in North America and to make conditions in the colony more agreeable for its current inhabitants.

Good morning, Liz and Allbodies. I hope you have a really nice day.
We got a tiny bit of rain during the night. Enough, I hope, that I won't have to water today.

I love my new computer that GS built me and, it is hooked into his so that he can fix any of my problems from his house. Last night he called and was running me through me through some stuff. He asked, "Can you move the mouse?" I said I could. Then I told him my cursor disappeared. He said, "I did that." Then he said the computer needed to be off for a minute. I asked, "Shall I turn it off now?" He said, "I just did."

I shared a post on FB from Mackenzie's mom. They were just beginning to think she was well on the road to recovery, but she had to go back to Dallas on Thursday. They did a bronch on her, but the family won't hear the results until Tuesday. Also, her stomach, which just stopped working after the dual lung transplant and caused her so much pain and so much pressure on her lungs, seemed to be doing much, much better and now it is causing problems again.

Meanwhile, her younger sister has to go to KU for her 'tune up' next week.

Both girls have dealt with cystic fibrosis all their young lives and have been extremely brave about it.

Mackenzie really needs a break. Her family really needs a break.

I can't imagine what it must be like for the younger one to see all that her sister has gone through since March, and know that eventually she will have to go through the same procedure.

Please keep them in your prayers.

Thank you for the prayers. Their mom commented that, without prayers, they could not have made it this far.

Murph, Mackenzie and her family are still in my prayers. I didn't realize her sister was going to have the same procedure done. That family sure has had a rough time.

Good morning, Allbodies. I hope you have a lovely Sunday. It is raining here.

Liz, Mackenzie's younger sister has cystic fibrosis also, so she knows that, eventually, she will need a transplant. It isn't something that she needs right away, thank God.
These parents are incredibly strong people. So are the girls.

Baby shower in two and a half hours and here I sit, in my jammies.

Murph how was the shower? The baby is due in September right? Wow this Christmas will be fun with the new baby's.

My sister came over yesterday and I made a pork roast for dinner. I could tell she wasn't feeling well and just wanted to be around people. I wish she would just sell her house and either move in here or buy a small house closer to us.

Not sure if I told you or not but last year was the last year Jerrod was eligible to play football. His coach offered him a job as a assistant coach for the team. That makes my sister proud that Jerrod's one of the coach's now. I told her we'd go make the drive to go see a few of the games.
