So you could have just stood at the door and enjoyed it!

I Did that, initially, then something just forced me to go get the shovel. Then something forced me to go get the salt.
The salt really worked. When I woke up, there was an inch or two of snow on the sidewalk, but it melted off. Everything else is still covered.

The birds are telling me they wish I had been motivated to shovel a path to the bird feeders.

I am glad your body pains felt better, at least for a while. I wish that heel would heal.
Tell the doctor to freeze it with the aerosol freeze they keep, you won't feel the shot so much.
I miss you.
NO. No sweet talking from you MISSY!

The old, The devil made me do it,.... isn't working.

Got any of that pot roast left? I haven't made a super nice meal in awhile. I've just been trying to fix quick meals.

Speaking about the moon always makes me think of Beat, Maggie, and Flo. I hope you are feeling well, and happy!

To look at that sidewalk now you would think I dreamed about shoveling it. The flakes coming down now are teensy.
but more importantly, how do you feel?

Not any worse than usual. However, experience has taught me that I don't really feel the effect until the second day after.
How is the foot today? Did you wrap it?

But I told you so.
I feel bad for ya girl. It hurts like crazy!
To me, it feels like a terrible bruise.
I took the prednisone pills. My body aches felt better, and the foot does feel better than it did. But now that I am done with the prednisone my body aches have returned, the bottom of my heel is still tender. There is no way I could walk on it for an eight hour day, or do yard work.
I go Thursday for the dreaded cortisone shot. "shudder"
Did your Dr. suggest a shot?
Yes you did.

Doc recommended:

advil
gel inserts in shoes
stretching exercise (as if)
No going barefoot -- at all -- ever

NO shot
NO pain meds
NO nothing

She said if the above doesn't work, I would need to be in boot.(not happening)

I taped it today. That seems to really help.

I am pretty sure that my cousin, Pam, has RA. Her doctor told her is was arthritis. I told her that doesn't mean a thing--my doctors told me that about my back for 35 years. I kept begging her to request a blood test looking for RA and CCP levels the next time she went to the doctor. She went today and Forgot to ask him, even though he ordered blood tests for tomorrow.
I will Bip her!

I've tried all the stinky stuff -- it doesn't seem to help. The doc said it is actually little tears in ..... something (I forget what). Maybe my plantar? Maybe my fasciitis? Anyway, something is torn.

I'm really bad about going barefoot at home -- like from the minute I walk in the door and until I have to walk back out. My mom says I have been that way my entire life. It's hard to keep shoes on, but it seems to help.

This mule-head also says she never sleeps more than 45 minutes at a time, during the night. I told her I used to do that. Got on nocturnal oxygen, don't do it anymore. Has she checked into nocturnal oxygen? No.....

I, too, have done that all my life. When I was a kid, the BIG thing about our last day of school was that we could be barefoot. There were never any end of school celebrations, just we could come with no shoes.
My 2 biggest things as a kid in the summer---let me be in the water (any water) and let me be barefoot.
