Hey, Girl. It is cold here, too. What are you doing on this cold day? There was snow on the ground when I woke up this morning, but not much.

Yep--You'll be looking over your shoulder every minute. Then, when you least expect it, BAM. Sisters can be like that.

Just sitting around as usual. I think it might freeze tonight.
I really am worried about Jean. I hope it is nothing bad.

Are you having trouble with your tub?

My hands couldn't work the controls. They sent a 'tech' man out yesterday and he reset the controls. The friend who helps me insisted that I get in it while she was here. That thing beat the hell out of me. All day I have felt like a truck rolled over me--then backed up and rolled over me again.

Good morning, allbodies.

Well, it got to 33 degrees in our yard last night/early this morning. I think my greens are toast. We covered them, so maybe ....

Does anyone have an update on Miss Jean?

Murph, I'm sorry your tub isn't working like you had hoped. Do you have another tub for taking a bath/shower? Or are you going to have use the garden hose.

Jean called last night. She is still feeling the effects of changing all her medicine, but I thought she sounded good. Except for coughing.
Yes, I have 2 other bathrooms, but the next closest to my bedroom has a more curvy tub and sometimes I flop like a fish trying to get out of it. I can take a shower in the Jacuzzi tub.

Maybe the greens will be ok, since you covered them. I hope so.
Where you BIN????

Where I bin? Well, I would love to tell you that I have been in Europe the last few weeks. Maybe the far East. But, alas, I have been at work. Sad but true. It has been a madhouse.

What's even sadder is that there is nothing new in my life.

Jr. did get the male lead in a show at the Daytona Playhouse. They are doing Once Upon a Mattress. That should be good.

Hubby is outside looking at the garden. It's too soon to tell if it's ruined, but he's looking anyway.

Hubby found an interesting way to get rid of fleas. He sprinkled (here we go) diamtamous earth around the house. What a flippin mess. It's like someone took a gallon of talc and threw it in the air! But we haven't seen a flea. I'd rather get rid of the cat, but .....

I'm glad Jean is feeling better. I hope she posts soon.

Bless you, Honey, you need a break. I have scheduled you for a Carribean cruise. Ladies only. Chippendale dancers. Free casino. Twelve meals a day. You wil feel so much better, you won't Care if the greens are ruined.
Now how could you possibly say that...get rid of the cat!!!!!
Sounds like my kids' recommendations to me when I am all cripped up and can barely move: "Get rid of the damned dogs." They know I would Never do that. They are what keeps me going. ANd going. And going. They are the neediest little beings I have ever seen. Especially Murphy. My angel. My love. The great black hole of Need. Pet me. Feed me. I need to pee. I need a drink. Could we go outside again? Pet me. My food bowl is empty. Need water. Could we pee again.......But, I wouldn't take a million dollars for that dog.

Diotomaceous earth is a good thing. Keeps spiders at bay, and now fleas? Is your kitty old or sick?

My Granny says the cold will make the greens better. Covering them should protect them. Good luck.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we
have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit
