I never said my boy's have poor hygiene habits, but after a couple hours of practice none of the kids smell like rose's. Trust me deodorant doesn't do much to kill the smell.<quoted text>
Try living in Tx heat somewhere north of Houston. Lots of showers, wash clothes every time you wear them, and a couple of showers daily for good measure. Take heart. If your kids didn't have body odor at all ever, there would be something wrong with them.

Thanks for sharing your story, Liz......I'm sure we're not the only mothers who scooped-up and ran.
Something instinctive takes over and logic goes out the window when it comes to our kids in a crisis situation.
I had another child start choking on finger food (cut up hot dogs)......thankfully somehow I was able to get it out, but it was years before I ever cooked hot dogs again.
Glad your situation turned out fine.......in my book, you probably saved his life as allergic reactions of that severity can cause anaphylactic shock in a heartbeat, and by the time EMS arrived, it could very well have been too late. Good for you!
Someone I knew didn't give their kid anything but breast milk until he was almost a year old.
She read it kept kids from being obese. La Leche supported her. She breastfeed him until she got pregnant with a second child. He was over two years old. If she hadn't gotten pregnant, she never would have weaned him. She was like that mom that had her pic on the cover with her son breast feeding. He looks like a kindergartner, but he was supposedly three.

There are laws in Florida, especially about fencing pools in to keep kids from wandering over and falling in. As far as your OWN kids, that is your responsibility.

Why is there a thread (or 10) for Jodey and one for Casey but no threads
anywhere for Amanda Knox known as Foxey Knoxey.
It seems like everywhere you look on topix, it's filled with guy perverts, people who curse or have limited vocabulary, people who write like first graders, etc. Has anyone else had this problem?

Politix, Topix’s politics-focused site, adds PopVox and news site TheBlaze as content partners
BY KEN YEUNG ON 11 JUN '13

Topix, a local forum site, is adding two new partnerships today to its political news and discussion site Politix. The move will see the company deliver more rounded coverage to help users not only share their thoughts, but get a more complete picture of political issues that affect the world today.

Politix has teamed up with TheBlaze and PopVox. The former happens to be conservative host Glenn Beck’s news, information, and opinion network while the latter is a nonpartisan advocacy platform that looks at real-time legislative data and combines it with personal stories and sentiment optimized for Congress.

Beyond just syndicating content, TheBlaze will contribute exclusive stories to the Politix readers.

The site’s editor-in-chief David Mark says Topix is committed to making Politix the “go-to destination for politically passionate citizens, regardless of whether their views are right, left, or center.” Furthermore, the service is intended to not only inform, but also to provide a platform for users to voice their opinions and engage with others.

Politix began a little more than a year ago as a home for your political profile online. Users can search through stories, participate in virtual debates, quizzes, and more and share their thoughts — it’s almost akin to Quora with a political twist.

The company says that the political site has seen more than 4 million unique visitors in just the past six months. It has brought on board a small editorial team, which has been responsible for posting over 5,000 articles.

Partnering with TheBlaze and PopVox should bring in more traffic to the site, especially with content from anything related to Beck would certainly appeal to a wider audience. With the participation of an engagement service like PopVox, users are empowered to not only leave their opinion, but be provided a way to express it directly to their government representative.

Looks like there are some parallel lines to the Casey and Amanda cases.
How long before Know files for bankruptcy?

An even more bizarre twist is that it looks as if Jodi Arias tried to copy Amanda's "style" because she thought it would make her look young and
innocent. In reality, she still looks like a female version of Richard Ramirez
with crazy eyes like Aileen Wuornos (now both deceased).

Breaking News: Kim Kardashian is either having Braxton-Hicks or is in
real labor although she is not due until mid July 2013.

So, I guess those pregnancy rumors about Casey Anthony were false?

Allegedly, she has given birth to the baby already. How did this one slide by Rambler?

What will the Arias Scream Team posters do when they want to make fun of Kim for being "fat"? Guess Peg Leg Pee Hauler will have to find a new hobby.

Interesting how you'd acknowledge pregnancy rumours as false, but assume all death notices must be true just because the media prints the story.

Superman: Flying to a church near you
By Eric Marrapodi, Co-Editor CNN Belief Blog

Baltimore, Maryland (CNN)- As the new Superman movie takes flight this weekend, filmmakers are hoping the Man of Steel lands not only in theaters, but also in pulpits.

Warner Bros. Studios is aggressively marketing "Man of Steel" to Christian pastors, inviting them to early screenings, creating Father’s Day discussion guides and producing special film trailers that focus on the faith-friendly angles of the movie.

At first glance this ought to elevate a stronger belief in Christianity - BUT if god is superman, is he evil portrayed as a hero? Based on Superman's villainous origins, I'm very surprised these churches want to go there......better left to fiction IMO.

Creation and conception
"The Reign of the Superman" in the fanzine Science Fiction, No.3 (June 1933)
Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, then students at Cleveland's Glenville High School, first conceived Superman as a bald telepathic villain bent on world domination.[5][6]

Grow up Webbie enough with your copy and pasting.

Just read your post out-loud and see how stupid it sounds.

On second thought maybe you should stick with just copy and pasting if you insist on posting here and forget posting your own thoughts. Are you one of Murph-y's offspring ?

There's needs to be a matching photo like this for Jodey Arias.

When skimming through pics of Amanda Knox and Casey Anthony, it appears that Arias has magical thinking that if she copies a fashion choice or hairdo, she will also be acquitted. How is that working out for her? Is she still following Mormonism and wearing her special underwear?

Silly question time: Jodi says her hair is pitch black because she can't get Lady Clairol in prison. When you look through Amanda Knox's pics, her hair varies in color, length, style, etc. Also, it was posted that Jodi had to pick through a bin to find court clothes to wear. Is it the same in Italy or did Amanda get to choose what she wanted to wear? There must be some experts here.

If you don't know the answer, give a shout out to a friend.

The few pics I've seen of Casey made me click out of them as soon as I glanced.
It's no wonder she sometimes wears that big hat. She should be required to wear it at all times while in public. That or house her in the cage with some chimps.

The links go to the wrong pics. It was the one of Amanda Knox with a French braid and Casey Anthony in jail navy blue with handcuffs.
