"Casey Anthony fights Gonzalez request to question her in bankruptcy"

>In a new court filing, attorneys for Casey Anthony argue Zenaida Gonzalez's lawyers already had their chance to question Anthony about her finances, and shouldn't be granted a second opportunity.
The filing comes after Gonzalez's legal team asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May for an examination of Anthony, similar to a deposition, in order to find out more about her finances.
At a creditors meeting earlier this month in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Anthony testified that, through her attorneys, she had received money and other gifts from well-wishers
Gonzalez's legal team's motion argued creditors "have an interest in discovering the full extent of [Anthony's] income and prospects for future income."
But the Anthony team's response, filed Thursday, says they already had that chance at the creditors' meeting: Only one creditor, Gonzalez, was represented, and her attorney was "given ample opportunity and unlimited time to examine" Anthony.
Anthony's response goes on to argue that Gonzalez's defamation claim is a "publicity stunt masquerading as a lawsuit."<

I did note the phraseology....but I think it was a matter of chronology rather than a matter of fact.
I don't know, but the motion is the craziest thing I've ever read. Like you said, what if the highest bidder wins the rights to her silence and she talks anyway? Would she be in contempt of court, or would the court (if granting this motion), be in contempt of violating her civil rights?
I said this thing was going to get worse before it gets better, and it looks like that's happening.
Ngrace, don't you trust your good ole' boy Cheney Mason, whom you admire so much, to take care of Casey's rights. What is he there for, to escort her into bankruptsy court on camera or look after her rights?

So are you saying no one should bother discussing them because she has attorneys looking out for her, TM?

Not at all, but don't you think she is in good hands? You've always seemed to admire him.

Clearly I'm not. You've posted here long enough to know that. Why, did you want to criticize my spelling also. Don't bother...and did you know that makes you look small?

No, but you need to make up your mind.
Are they sucking the life out of her or are they protecting her rights?
There are two opposing sets of attorneys: the ones who are trying/tried to suck the life out of her; the ones trying/tried to protect her rights.

My concern has always been towards those in the first group. You should know that by now.

I was wondering who you meant when you said she had a bunch of clever attorneys tripping all over themselves in a continuing effort to squeeze the life out of her. I know you respect Mason and always found your remarks regarding Greene (sp) to be that you're of the opinion that he is fair and honest. So in discussing them, just who are you referring to if you don't mind saying?

Google enough sites, and you'll find the answers and where to find most everything.

The bankruptcy trustee is selling off the rights to Casey's story. If it works, she won't be able to sell her story.

Obviously, TM, I'm not talking about the ones defending her. The other side has a bunch of clever attorneys, too....which is also obvious.

I used to believe that money was their motivator, but after a recently filed case in another story, of which I applauded them, I'm beginning to wonder if their efforts are not for money, but for getting to the truth about what happened to Caylee, once and for all.

But as to Casey, I do wonder just how much more she can withstand.

PS- Happy Birthday, TM!

I agree with the others - this bankruptcy fairy tale is as boring as watching an apple shrivel on a cold day,

If M&M, Cheney Mason and Charles Greene, et al had arranged an educational fund for Zenaida NOT-Fernandez she has had ample time to obtain her own law degree in order to support herself and her six children and live happily every after, and the gaggle of attorneys would have freed up valuable time for needful clients with more important legal issues.

I give the script a D-.

It lacks a villain, has no real plot, the characters are bland, and the sequences are chronically repetitive.

Boring.

You're as easy to read as an open book!

Of course we know what "truth" you're referring to. ROFLMAO!!!

(TRUTHFULLY, your not very transparent agenda is far more entertaining than the fairy tale bankruptcy!)

Yes, I agree. My take is that the eye is on the bald-headed dude and his companions, and the chic got tossed in the corner simply because it made for good headlines. In fact it appears as if it's a surveillance camera shot - wonder if it had audio?- because he's totally oblivious to the photo-taker.

Are you trying to be obtuse or do you come by it naturally?

I said I Googled it after reading the article on TMZ. What about that DON'T you understand?

Or are you just trying to stir the pot because you didn't like my answer?

Better yet, are you just stirring the pot because you failed to find it on your own?

And as to what somebody else posted, phooey on you.

Next time I post something, you can be sure I won't include the link.
