Being local, I've seen and heard many rumors about this case that have become "facts" with repeated telling. I've started this thread to sort out: facts vs fiction; leaks vs evidence; and name calling vs serious discussion.

Everyone is welcome to debate the case, especially the original Fox Orlando bloggers who are looking for a new home to share their comments.

Thank you ngrace for starting this thread.

Hopefully, it will thrive as it appears this is a subject of good discussion.

IMO I think the state has alot of evidence that they are not revealing.

There are so many things to mull over that is not known by the public.

Could it be the torn out pages from the diary?
Casey's fingerprints on the duct tape?

Possibly other posters can add their thoughts to this.

Hi, Gatorsmomma. I agree with your "fact" but I question your "fiction" based upon what various friends have said about her mothering skills. Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen or heard one comment about her being a bad mother from the people who knew her; have you?

Hi Race,

hope all is well with you and your son :)

I definately think the Diary has something to offer. Just based on Cindys reaction when Conway said they would turn it over to LE if they wanted it (Larry King Live show)

Hi, no I have never heard her friends say anything negative about her when it came to Caylee, I based it on the fact that she didn't report her child missing ever.

Excuse me for stepping in here but I do remember Casey's friends saying that they thought it was somewhat out of place for Caylee to be at adult parties and sleeping on the couch.

You can bet your azz they have all their ducks in a row. This idiot of a defense lawyer she picked is just milking the cow for every last drop of free publicity he can get. His inexperience is showing every step of the way.
This state will be better off when the Murderer is lockup up for good and this entire fiasco is behind us.
If this trial were in any major city other than that donkey town of Orlando, the skank would have already been sentenced and the clown dis-barred.

Hey Gators,

Good to see you and thank you for asking about my son. He's doing good, just suffering from the oppressive heat there, as they all are.

When I saw the ANT's on LK and the different statements between Cindy & Conway on the diary, I actually got confused.

I thought LE had the diary all the time. Then Cindy said LE didn't want it, it wasn't important, so LE just photographed the pages. And I thought Cindy said she had the diary. Then Brad said he had the diary and LE could have it anytime. I think I have this right, not sure.

I have also read rumors that LE found a book/journal or some kind of paperwork that had Caylee's fathers name on it, but have never found anything about this in any docs, no sources cited, so must be just rumors.

Good to see you, hope you are having a great day.

Hey jemmack,

How you be today? Find and dandy I hope.

I remember some of the friends making that statement also. I'm not sure, you might remember, but didn't Annie Downing say the "no clothes party" where Casey was in the American Flag, was actually the end of May, not july 4th and Casey brought Caylee to that party and she was sleeping on the couch.

I probably have it wrong, as I'm pretty good at getting my own self confused with all this.

I have a problem with the friends having these attacks of conscience only after the fact. From the party pictures, it looked like they all were enjoying themselves.

Does anyone know if they ever said anything to Casey back when it might have made a difference or did I just miss it?

Hi, Race. As I recall, the "anything but clothes" party was at Fusion and the management warned Casey not to bring Caylee again.

Kojak, I disagree with you here. I am waiting for the State's case with an open mind, but I do have to wonder, if the case was so solid, why have we been privy to all these "sources close to the investigation leaks" for months?

Just clearing this up....the party was at someone's house; not at Fusion.

As to management warning her not to bring Caylee again to Fusion, this is the first time I've heard of that. Could you give us more info?
