Magic overcome Kobe Bryant's 41 points for home win

The Orlando Magic overcame Kobe Bryant , plus some of their own poor decisions and wretched free-throw shooting, to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 106-103 on Saturday night in front of a sell-out crowd at Amway ... Full Story

how about Atl, Mem, Hou, Bos, & Pho

Whats nice about all those losses is that those teams are good because ATL is prolly gonna grab the 4 or 5 seed this season. MEM is the only bad loss there. Boston loss was without starting pg, sg, & sixth man, but we'd prolly lose either way, and the Houston loss wasnt way too close either. Phoenix was very, very, very close which speaks to hwo tough the Magic hang, but still a loss. No team is perfect. Try writing out all the other losses for the whoe league and the Magic will end up this category: LAL, BOS, and CLE. You're pretty fickle with that kind of company. Are you a Orlando Magic hater or a fan of one those three?

and LEBRON beats everybody in the leagues StAt line as far as +/- goes, effiency and overall balance as the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD... and the drop off from Dwight howard to Z ilgauskus isnt as much when you factor in the fact that ilgauskus is automatic from anywhere on the court with his jumper and dwight howard will be a nonexistant shot blocker against the CAVS whith Z stretching the floor. who is gonna contain LBJ on the magic? Lewis- bad one on one defender and not agile enough or fast enough or strong enough to guard lebron, Hedo- way to slow- the frenchman-hes a wittle guy, bogans-also a little fella- who else are you gonna throw at him? howard can be contained but lebron is a different story
dwight howard is still better than Z. and there are some other nice little matchups the magic can take advantage of. But yea, I dont hink the Magic can hang with Cavs/LBJ in a series right now. Thats fine, Ill take seeing the rest of the season play out fro both teams before i think the magic can take them this season or not. whats also great is that theres a small chance the magic can surpass cleveland and steal that 2 seed. thats homecourt advantage for 2 whole rounds. something very useful when last years playoffs showed, what something like 16 consecutive playoff wins are to only the home teams. ill have to clarify that fact, im not completely sure, just sure its a great advantage.

Im a Seattle supersonics fan all the way but have been a Lebron fan since his through the leg dunk in game junior year in high school and a cleveland fan since he started to take over the league in 2005, and a hardcore Cleveland fan since the SUps left

You're welcome to post, free speech and all that, but you can't claim to not be a hater when your every post is negative- whether we win or lose.

You're a join-the-winning-team Cleveland supporter? Why not go make all of your posts there?

Sorry, too easy. Notice that after the Magic's biggest win of the year to date you can't even squeeze out a single complement or "Go Magic." Why? Because you don't like the Magic? So why come on the Magic board and make more posts than Jim? Because you're really a troll. Go home gnome.

Crawford is such a tool!!!! The biggest game of the year and we got this thin skinned fool? Thank God it was going both ways. Jameer has always had leadership ability. Don't forget he is the guy who flys the entire team to phillie every summer. Last year had to be rough for him. His focus is back. Who knows maybe that contract that Otis gave him will turn out to be a steal!!! Go Magic!!!

Great energy in the building last night. It was certainly nice to send home the Laker fans with another loss. They are 0-2 on this East Coast trip and could end up losing again to the Hornets.

Man, how many phantom calls did Kobe get last night? Then on the Magic end we we are getting called on touch fouls.

Be ready, because I remember it from last year, when Lebron comes to town, if you even breath on the guy they call a foul! These officials are a joke and are star struck.

Huge win for the Magic last night. With Dwight in foul trouble, Jameer took over again. I'm not going to compare him to all the guards in the league, but right now, he's playing fantastic. He's probably a better scorer than most point guards in the league.

I'll tell you, Hedo is friggin killin' me with he inbound pass turnovers. Nothing is worse than that.

Dwight's two free throws down the stretch were solid. Not sure about the Beyonce song, if it works to calm him down, then so be it. I'd be thinking about the banging body on her and would be clanking those free throws!

I'm going to watch the game again since I recorded it to get a little better insight.

This team just keeps impressing me!
NBA beware, the Magic are for real!

Better hope the magic don't play alt in the first round - they seem to have the magic's number and look what they did to Boston last year - I fine it interesting that we give excuses for the Boston loss but don't mention that our two good wins came when the opposition was playing two games in a row - and than we complain that the network mention it.
Just because you look at the Magic through rose colored glasses doesn't mean all of the other fans have too.

This board is so annoying and is in the top 3 as the most stupid, ignorant, unknowledgeable about everything, including ANY semblance of understanding about basketball.

Consequently I REFUSE to post on this board as I am way to schooled and intelligent to even reply to all this stupidity!

But yet you still keep on coming back to sing your JJ praises on a consistent basis.(noting the fact JJ hasn't seen the floor in what... 3 games or so)
