And this is the same country that we are getting alot of our cat and dog food from not to mention food for our own consumption. What is wrong with our country? I had no idea we were getting grains and vegetables from a country that hates us and has no respect for human or animal life. What about American Farmers why can't they sell it to us? Thank god there are some human beings over there left that try and help these poor animals.
No respect for human lives? Then how did they become the most populous country in the world?

By breeding like rats. And if you will
notice the government is trying to
control that with one couple one
child.

I am a cat lover and I think that is totally sick. My family has three beautiful cats. These are the same people who think bear galls and dried tiger dongs increase sexual potency. Ugh.
Did you ever stop there are people
who aren't cat lovers and eating one
to them is no different then you
eating a lamb chop.
You have some tasty meals running
around your house.

Aussies eat kangaroo, Chinese & Koreans eat cats and dogs, American eat turkey and cows, English eat lamb's brains/tongues and rabbits, French eat snails, Japanese eat raw fish and whales, Kiwis eat moth pupa, Africans eat grasshoppers, Thai eat crikets, Vietnamese eat snakes, Sth Americans eat rodens... yuk, yuk, yuk! How horrible!
But cats and dogs can be tamed as PETS. All others mentioned are simply wild animals.

They deep fry them. They have this dish called smelly bean curd, the word smelly is an understatement. They said once you get passed the smell, it is actually not bad.

Not quite. Rabbit, pig, lamb, kangaroo, snail, snake can all be tamed as PETS too. What is the difference? Possibly it is cultural practices that we see things differently. Killing any animal for food is all yukky irrespective of what they are such as pig, sheep, cow etc.

Sound very much like the smelly blue vein cheese that we commonly consume during parties or before dinners!

I have a friend who has a Kayman Crock in his backyard, that is his watchdog, as long as it is fed he can walk it on a leash like a dog and have no problems at all.

I lived in Tennessee , in them thar back hills pigs are tamed as housepets.

If you take the time many animals that you believe to be only wild animals can be tamed and be great pets.

I however do draw the line at eating fluffy. What did fluffy ever do to those chinese to deserve being fried and thrown in soup?

They do dogs too, cats are not the only targets for the chinese. Have to be careful when you go to a buffet , you may not be eating beef.

Those you mention are not "pets" in my sense of the word. Dogs and cats love you back. Kangaroos can disembowel you at any time. Can a snake purr? Can a sheep chase a ball? Snail?? Come on. Yeah, they sure are tame and rub against your legs.

What you guys are talking about are supposed to stay in the wild. Not cats and dogs. Not the same to any thinking person. Anyone who keeps a snake when you have to feed them live hamsters have to have a screw loose. A neighbor had one and the squealing of the rodent could be heard to kingdom come. I had a Betta and he never acknowleged me nor did he bark. What a waste of time!!

And what about snake and iguana owners who decide they are not "pets" any more and dump them in the wild??("He didn't love me enough.")

And dogs that attack and kill?? Not all behave like poodle or malties! We have big problems with cats becoming wild in the bush killing endangered native birds. I have a kookaburra that sits on my lap and likes to be cuddled and talk to. The bird is supposed to be wild animal. By the way not all kangaroos disembow human, not all kangaroos are big animals.
