And this is the same country that we are getting alot of our cat and dog food from not to mention food for our own consumption. What is wrong with our country? I had no idea we were getting grains and vegetables from a country that hates us and has no respect for human or animal life. What about American Farmers why can't they sell it to us? Thank god there are some human beings over there left that try and help these poor animals.

"Cat meat is considered a delicacy in southern China and cats are sold live to markets where they are slaughtered fresh for customers."
Instead, since millions of US pet owners don't care enough to spay or neuter their cats and dogs, we have about 5 million "extra" pet offspring every year, abandoned on the streets. At least the Chinese are getting some use out of theirs.

Are you sugesting we sell our feral cats to the chinese people? Hey write a letter to your congressman to start negociating that dumb a**. Have you helped an abandoned pet ever? Have you volunteered at a pet shelter? If your answer is no, then you're as much at fault.

I am a cat lover and I think that is totally sick. My family has three beautiful cats. These are the same people who think bear galls and dried tiger dongs increase sexual potency. Ugh.

Salties and 'Roos aren't eaten so someone thinks they're gonna get wood. Rhinos are almost gone , and sharks get finned and released to die a slow death.
Humans don't consume dingos there , do they?
Now I'm a realist and I understand the consumption of dogs and cats won't end , but it's my opinion they shouldn't be.
are you kidding

No, dingo is not commonly eaten here as it is difficult to find! I personally find eating turkey is yukky to say the least. Or worst still to consume the little one year old lambs for Sunday roast dinners! I cannot come to term with the agony of the poor little lambs and people enjoying the carcases. This is just my personal reaction. Ideally we should all be vegans who eat lots of peas and beans.
