i hope you guys know that you were not there and you dont know the circumstances of why harold didnt stop. i live less then a half mile from this and harold is a few houses down from mine i have known him for a long time i went to school with his son and daughter. he is the kind of guy that would stop but he didnt drive by it when he came up to the stop sign on lake mary jane rd to turn right on moss park he did what he should do and look both ways before turning and when he looked to his left about 200 yards was the car smoking. which if you lived out there it would be unusal for a car like that to be on fire but a car smoking and looking like it was over heating is typical because people like to race on those long country roads. besides the fact think to your self what could he have done? maybe he might of had a cup of coffee or if he was lucky a bottle of water where he could run over there quickly and splash the fire out yeah right get real people the only thing you could do was get the fire department which driving to it and telling them is quicker because he didnt notice the flames in his mirror until half way down the road which half way down the road is the station so dont you think stopping and telling them is faster because they know instantly instead of calling 911 descaribing where he is blah blah blah and then they dispatch the station come on people if you dont know the circumstances keep comments to yourself especially if other people like my self who know them personally can read it and the whole racism stuff, lets just say we are have our own opinions and....i think i should probably keep mine out

I haven't heard the name yet and I wonder why they are not saying very much on the news, considering that the car was burning on the inside. I want to know a little more.

Okay......considering that I live off the road..there is nothing on the news about this darn body. They are also not saying anything about the Nations bank on Narcoosee in Lake Nona being robbed. What is going on?

They don't want you to know how unsafe and unprotected we are because they are powerless to protect us. The Sentinel keep this stuff out of the paper rather than write anything unfavorable about our husband/wife police clown team. I suggest you read other news sources in this town.

Something is wrong here. Who is covering up these stories. Is it the Lake Nona and Inovation Way developers?

Something is very messed up here. If you look at the Sentinels Crime map you see virtually no crime in the area yet I know a neighbor down the block who was robbed of a lot of expensive goods yet it does not show up on the map. And we know of cars being stolen down in Isle of Pines.

If you Look at the Lake Nona area crime map it looks like nothing has happened in the last 5 years but a stolen lawnmower.

Something stinks.

I'm tellng you guys that it's kept out of the paper and news to make those areas seem nicer than they are. Like Winter Park and Maitland - how much crime gets reported there? And don't tell me Winter Park is a lily white super safe area. I live downtown and they do hide stuff that happens like all the car burglaries in Colonialtown.

The local rumors here is that it was a suicide.
I don't buy it. You can't shoot yourself and start a fire. And nobody starts a fire with gasoline in their car to kill themselves. And, trust me, if they did they would be jumpin their ass out with the first burns. Who is covering this up, and why?

Locally they are saying it is a guy named Pring... who lived in Vista Lakes.

I am a retired detective who has worked on homicide and suicide cases. No way did Ed Pringle commit suicide by torching himself in his Corvette. Why were there no reports in the Friday and Saturday editions of the Sentinel? I live in the Isle of Pines and I want answers. My friends in the OCSO can't even tell me what's going on.

Fred I would like to know your views on why this could not have been a suicide. The family is desperately searching for answers. This was not like the person we new to do something like this.

For the family of the unknown person in this vehicle, I just want you to know my heart is heavy for you. My husband was shot, then burned 9 months ago. They too had to use dental records to id him. Kentucky State Police are still working on the murder case. It has been a long hard road for me. I need to know what happened to my husband.
It is a horrible thing to have happen, closed casket is no way to send someone you love off without being able to see them and kiss them goodbye.
You are in my prayers. I will be thinking of you and wishing well to all of you. Be strong!!
God bless

I used to work with Ed at his previous job. Regardless of what happened, this is a loss of a life and people need to be respectful of Ed's family. May Ed rest in peace.

I am Edward's sister - and this is a complete surprise to everyone. We don't understand, as this did not fit his personality. Ed was making lots of plans to see family shortly. Ed was a very happy person who loved life and love to joke around. None of this makes any sense and if anyone has any information, please go to the police and tell them what you know.

Dear Family members...
Are they ruling this as a suicide??? WHEN did this happen?
I am so sorry you are having this going on, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I am [email protected] I have nothing to gain in reading your post, I just want you to know I care. Drop me a line as I do not completely trust the topix posts. Cruel people are out there and will probably do things to make you suffer more with their unkind and disrespectfyl words and ways. Hang in there.
If you would like to see something beautiful I would like to share something with you.
This is my husband, singing this song. It was recorded several years ago and dedicated to his mother for a gift and never got to her. However I had it played at his funeral and my friend added video later. Enjoy this and May many angels be with you. Trust in God he is good.
Thngs you do not understand he can help you with. I am lucky to be able to hear his lovely voice anytime I want.

Ed, was my buddy and there’s no way he committed suicide!! He was the happiest and friendliest guy on earth. I hope OCSO can bring some conclusive evidence prior to rush into no sense conclusions.

Ed was a family friend, and this came as a nasty shock. He was the happiest person I've ever known - I literally can't picture him without a smile on his face, because not once did I see him without one. Whatever happened here, I wish for resolution and peace for his family and all his friends. We'll miss you, Ed. I'm so sorry.

There is NO WAY Ed committed suicide! It is so obvious that he didn't. Anyone and everyone who hears about this tragedy knows it is not suicide. Ed had too many future plans and his character was way too cheerful to commit suicide. Suicial people don't have future plans, they don't even have the will or desire to speak of, or attend pleasurable events. And Ed's life was full of pleasurable plans and events.
Also, it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to know that a suicial person is a "mentally ill" person. No one just sets themselves on fire! And Ed was not ill. Ed was not clinically depressed. He was very close with his family and had many, many close friends - so if he was sick, someone would have seen that.
Unfortunately, it's very obivous that Ed's death is suspicious. And I hope for the family's sake that they find answers, so they can be at peace with this horrible tragedy. My prayers are with the family. RIP ED!!
