From what I have seen ,the biggest problem with the Miami Cubans are the ZERO political, police standards .Right you are when you say its too late to make a case in miami ...i was born and raised here and have witnessed the cuban take over, the only problem i have with it is that most will not learn english and look at me like whats wrong with me that i live here and dont speak spanish...dade county will become its own "country" seperated from the rest of the USA...a prime example of this was the election.....obama had already won and days later miami-dade still had not finished voting....most of my family and friends have left miami....i will soon follow. White people are the last of the mohicans down here and nothing will cange it other than leaving.....miami has truley become a shithole thanks to immagration....you really do feel like your in a third world country down here....it is sad, especially for the non hispanics who grew up here....farewell miami....the canker worm has consumed you! Sorry baby!!!:(
To leave a corrupt third world , only to recreate it , is what I have seen here and I say this as a Cuban.
Castro this and Castro that while countless Miami Cuban politicos rob them blind and as many police hang out and ignore even the most depraved drivers who put their familes in danger.
"Cubanomics"
Preferential treatment of friends and colleagues; appointing them to positions of power has been a political mainstay and is as old as democracy itself. Cubans, however, have taken cronyism to a level that few American-born politicians dare to tread.
Government corruption, mismanagement, police misconduct, election fraud, theft and ethics violations seem to be standard operating procedure in city hall. Add Medicare fraud disproportionately committed by Cubans, these and other crimes cost American taxpayers billions. For over 30 years, the Cubans have been plundering South Florida because of America’s shortsighted, self-serving political policies and inept law enforcement.
