we must have different box scores - mine shows 3-7 with a 3 pointer - 2-4 last night

Here's how well Cook has done in 2 games: 1 for 5 shooting. That's 20 percent. He's right on target with his season average with LA which was at 19 percent. The guy is a stiff and doesn't even fill a need.
Oh, yeah. He's got a "great attitude."
The other guy involved in the trade was last seen on the side of a milk carton.

Big props also go to Keyon Dooling tonight in scoring 17 points off the bench. All total the Magic bench outscored Miami's bench 36-13.
I also thought Foyle did a decent job against Shaq.
Evans and Cook are just getting their feet wet in this new system. Once they get it down I think they will both be a big help off the bench.
Turkoglu has been phenomenal. He gives the Magic one more potent scorer in addition to Lewis and Howard.
One thing I really like to see is how the Magic players and SVG are reacting to this fast start. They continually say "We haven't done a thing yet". Or they say "We have a lot to improve upon". It just goes to show how they are striving for excellence as a team.
Clearly this is a team that all Magic fans can take pride in rallying behind. KEEP IT GOING MAGIC!!!

Evans looks athletic. He was brought in for his D because he has good size for a guard. Shaq is a shell of what he once was. Guarding him must be like weathering a storm. Just sit tight and he will lose energy. Too fat!!! Keyon will win the 6th man award in the East!!! Good luck guys on your West coast swing. I will be drinking alot of coffee next week.

THANK YOU GOD we still have HEDO!! He is the biggest reason we have this record right now.
I admit I was one of the fans who was 100% sure we should get rid of Turk! The truth is, the last couple seasons he SUCKED! Very streaky, unreliable, and terrible rebounding and defense. I don't know what happened this season so far...maybe a miracle in the making!
I truly believe the coaching style of Van Gundy and uptempo game has really made everyone a better player. Kudos to the Magic, they are winning back some fams quickly! The only sad part is that JJ Redick is benched and his enormous shooting potential is forgotten. Either give the man a chance or trade him...it's a shame to waste such talent. Yes, his defense is a lil weak but the man is a sharp shooter and he will become a superstar when we trade him!

We beat some good teams, yes, but this year's Heat team is not one of them when they have only 3 wins thus far!

Ive been following the Magic this year, and Im glad they got rid of Hill (the coach). They now have a coach who instill the W in every player. VanGundy gets his salary and the players get theirs. The fans do want to see these players work for 48 minutes. They dont want see them fold. Keep going and play for 48 mins even if you are winning by 50 points because the other teams will do the same to the Magic whenver they get a chance. Thats the way you play now and get to the finals. Im glad for VanGundy and all the players who contribute to get the W. They all play unselfish and thats what a good coached team does.

Theres a better chance that Redick is out of the league in two years than there is of him becoming a superstar. People need to realize he college is different from the NBA...JJ's game just doesnt translate unfortunately.

You don't know what your talking about, his shooting avg with Orl is closer to 50% with 3 of 7 shooting(off the top of head) in two games. So shut your mouth.

Oh and like Ariza could shoot the lights out. Yes, I am implying your an Ariza lover.

"doesn't fill a need" you don't even know what your talking about. Last I checked we shoot alot of threes, right? How many 3's did Trevor make?

Next time you post something please put a disclaimer in front of whatever write, something like"warning I talk out of my a$$"

It is a shame that Van Gundy is pandering to Otis to keep JJ in jail. Trade him for another big player who can't dribble. Van Gundy and Otis have overstocked on large fundamentally unsound shock troops. The Magic now have very poor ball handling skills. Only Nelson can handle the rock under pressure. All Van Gundy's eggs are in one basket. As the season really get going the pressure is coming. Chris Paul could score 50 plus points on the Magic every night. The Pistons will continue to drill Orlando. Nice start to the season. Enjoy it while you can. The seeds have been sown. Some Magic fans who know nothing about basketball pepper this site screaming for the club to bring in more big men. It's really hsrd to believe. The Dwayne Wades and Chris Pauls are looking forward to matchups with the Magic. Trade JJ and be done with it. He wll come back and torch your pathetic back court.

You do realize that your rambling and make no sense at all right? Also, if you could learn how to spell, it would help you sound less like an idiot. But if your content with sounding like a rambling idiot who can't spell, then I'm fine with it as well.

Well..you can call me naive, but I'm actually still very optimistic about JJ...I think this style and SVG system is perfect for him. He did great in the preseason and also did pretty well couple of games early on. Injuries is killing that kid. He has never had a consistent rotation chance.....He could be the guy bailing us out if one of the shooters go down with injuries....
I think given some minutes after he is 100%, he will prove ppl wrong. I know College is not the same as NBA but that boy has great touch and his on court IQ is amazing. I say, Patience!!
Dont give up on him yet....Let him play about 20 games consistently and then you can call him out. For now...Jury is still out...
