Heartbreaking and horrific for all TSA families.
As a retired TSA Officer at MCO/Orlando, I want Mr. and Mrs. flying America to know from day one all TSA officers are dedicated to risk their lives to save the lives of all aircraft passengers, and also all possible innocent victims that would be involved with an aircraft disaster on the ground.
All TSA Officers have top security clearance, and continued training and testing to qualify for top security clearance.
Each and every TSA officer has a family that loves them and are proud of their achievements and honorable position to serve and protect.
Yet, even now, many passengers treat TSA Officers with great disrespect as the officers proceed to do the very job that protects them. Some passengers are thoughtful, considerate, and grateful that we, the TSA devote our lives to keeping them and their families safe.
Our mission is to serve and protect.
