The mother of a 2-year old boy who fell from a second-story window has been charged with felony child endangering.

Latrice Foster, 28, will be arraigned this morning in Cleveland Municipal Court.

The toddler fell about 4:30 p.m. Thursday from a window at a home in the 15300 block of Ridpath Avenue on the city's East Side.

The child was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.

Police said the 2-year-old had been left home alone.

Kudos me4sure. Right in line with something I posted yesterday. That although the whole Casey Anthony thing is sad, and Caylee deserves justice...there are many, many other children out there who did not get the media coverage that Caylee did that deserve a voice also.

A Kenner man was booked with aggravated rape for an attack that left a 5-year-old girl hospitalized, Kenner police said.

ose M. Licona, 33, 2920 Iowa Ave., was arrested Monday, the same day the girl was treated at Children's Hospital in New Orleans for injuries so severe to her vagina and anus that they required surgery, a police report said.

The girl told her mother she was bleeding, so the mother took her to East Jefferson General Hospital, said Sgt. Brian McGregor, Police Department spokesman. From there, the child was transferred to Children's Hospital, McGregor said.

The treating physician there interviewed the girl, who provided a "clear and detailed history of sexual abuse," the police report said. The doctor's report noted that "the physical findings were definitive for penetrating trauma" and "indicative of sexual abuse," the police report said.

The girl told the doctor and, later, detective Charlotte Synigal that Licona had sex with her at his house on Sunday, the report said. The girl, who knows Licona, said she told him he was hurting her but that he ordered her to "be quiet and keep still," the report said.

McGregor said Licona's current charges are based on the doctor's report, but more criminal charges could follow. The girl said Licona had committed the same type of acts upon her before while her mother was at work.

On Tuesday, the girl remained in the hospital, and Licona remained in jail, McGregor said. His bond had not been set.

If what Casey is claiming is true, then I wonder who the daddy is. What a sorry excuse for a human being Casey is. No respect for life. None for Caylee nor anyone else whom Casey ripped and tore apart. That smirk on her face was like spitting on Caylee's grave. Casey is truly vile and without any conscience or remorse. Having a baby would appear to not really mean anything to her. If Casey thinks that by having another baby, she can change the public's mind about her, she is wrong. Casey's actions and behavior over her daughter's disappearance, death and the cover-up of what she knows is a murder that she committed to be rid of her daughter; can only be described as "monstrous". Casey is every bit the monster that her defense team has denied her to be.
