Why do blacks always make a racial issue out of every black trial NO MATTER WHAT! Whites can't do anything right by them. Take OJ...he murders in cold blood but the blacks supported and celebrated his freedom! Knowing he was guilty. Now think about nichole browns mom and dad and how sad they must have been to lose a child. Fast foward to trayvon case. Now u have blacks supporting travon which I understand...but the jurors ruled on evidence....and came up with a decision....just like they did when they set OJ free. And there is a mom and dad in just as much pain as nicholes parents. So get over the racial shit...and move the fuck on.

I'm white also and think GZ should have at least gotten manslaughter, or is it childslaughter?
Either way he got off scott free.
The only two people that will ever know what happened that dark and rainy night are George and Travon, and George has to live with what he has done.
The part that troubles me is it doesn't seem to phase him.

I am glad you both feel the need to point out what race you are - it speaks volumes. The verdict was not guilty - that means the trial is over - let it be. It is a shame the youngster is dead but he did something stupid - he attacked someone he thought was an easy target to beat up without knowing they were armed. When you attack someone you take that gamble - as sad as it is the young man attacked Zimmerman and he lost that gamble. Kids don't always make the greatest decisions but I do not blame Zimmerman for defending himself. The rules don't change because you are young and stupid and make a bad decision. No one ever wonders where things would have ended if Zimmerman didnt have a gun to defend himself. The kid simply picked the wrong guy to attack - end of story. I have no problem with anyone who is attacked for ANY reason defending themselves - I bet there are a lot of young "gangsta" wanna be kids out there giving a second thought now before they jump on someone who looks weak to them. Congrats to Zimmerman - the justice system works occasionally.

The jury was made up of all women, most are mothers. Why look at them? They are Zimmerman's peers, had a job to deliver a verdict and did just that.

We know Zimmerman killed Martin. To what degree he is to be punished was the job of the all female jury. P

Pointing out race because race is NOT the issue here.
As for the kid (Travon) attacking Zimmerman, how do you know he attacked Zimmerman? Because Zimmerman said so??? Of course he's going to say he was attacked or he knows he's going to jail for a long time.
Haven't you ever heard of people claiming self defense to get away with murder? Happens all the time.
Bottom line looks like the 6 women on that jury believed him, even without him taking the stand!
Two people are the only people that really know what happened and one of them is dead, the other one will have to one day answer to a higher power. JMO

I base knowing Trayvon attacked Zimmerman on the 56 different ways the EVIDENCE showed this to be the case.

America, keep calm and carry on: In the past, I might beep my horn at a car that cuts me off in traffic. That's not happening anymore. I won't go over to a neighbor who has a little too much to drink on July 4 and shoots fireworks onto my roof and into my yard. When a neighbor yells at me to turn the radio down, I'd have to do so. I'm telling my kids not to get involved in any pranks like toilet papering a house, or sneak into a friend's yard.

I never used to be concerned about these things, but in a post-Zimmerman world, the fact that the other person is more likely to have a gun, and feel justified in using it, is something that has to be fit into a calculation of "is it worth it?"
We'll all have to be calm and carry on, until the next court case where a jury realizes that guns with hollow-points always beat a pack of Skittles.

Most people who legally carry have far more weapons training and legal knowledge about use than a thug with a stolen piece. Most people who are registered are also going to shoot to kill. Period.

It's bad when situations like Zimmermans make you practice running in a zig zag line and just wondering if you are going to survive day to day. He's not the only nut case out there and it is not just guns. Look at the Jodi Arias females of the world who can take someone out with knives and then shoot for good measure. She said, "He wouldn't die." If she had shot him in the chest at close range instead of in the head, he would have died. She instead tried to find his heart with a knife and severed a major vessel.
